Here's a clue "Your PC will restart several times. Sit back and relax."
Except of course that's sideways because they decided to put it on my Portrait monitor rather than my Landscape...
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

I have a feeling that might be the point. Still, the subject remains the same - just ignore if it offends you.

So I started working for a new company in San Diego 3 1/2 months ago. I'm working as a contractor for another month or so, then I come in full time. I really love this new company.
However, my actual employer is out of Boston. They are a firm that supplies developers to other companies. Since the day I started their on-line timesheet app has not worked. Entires are not saved, various issues entering job code, etc..
Finally it stopped working altogether. Now, when I click the link I get an error page showing
"Object reference not set to an instance of an object."
My first thought was someone didn't null check a references. Should be a fairly easy fix.
That was 4 weeks ago.
In the meantime I have been tracking my hours in Excel and sending that in and they enter it for me. They've finally screwed up my pay... Mailed me a check and then direct deposited TWICE the amount the following week... I was paid TWICE for the same week.
Finally, yesterday I get an email from the main contact there which she was forwarding from their IT tech support:
Hey Mary,
I tried logging in with his credentials. Please have him try the following.
Username = kevin@blahblah.com
Password = GXXXXXXXXXXX (capital G)
Let me know please!
The email address and password WERE SENT IN THE CLEAR in an email!!!!!

Well, that certainly narrows it down.
I think I have an idea for a time-keeping system. Have everyone make a CP membership and tell HR the name. Every morning, log into CP and post an "I'm here" message in your personal forum, then add replies as the day goes along -- out for lunch, back from lunch, etc. HR can then scrape everyone's entries to get the punches. Simple.

Right now reading this book about Neuron Network in C#[^], yeah!
Ok, I have to say it does help me go into a subject which has always been nebulously mysterious until thus far, so.. it must be good right?
On the other hand the book is somewhat obscure (luckily I am very keen to understand WTF is going on!!), it is riddled with very average programming and... really really poor math!
I mean where in the world the derivative of 1 / (1 + exp(-x)) is even remotely related x * (1 - x) ?!?
Well in the book that's where[^]!!

If you pick x as Sigmoid(actualX) it's fine
