How dare you! I was sober for the weekend so I could drive the 1,000 miles home.

Friday we packed the car and went for an early dinner with a glass [on this case an honest, single glass; all be it large] of wine. Saturday was a quick 900 miles across Europe with a welcome brace of beers on stopping for the night. Yesterday we crossed the migrant infested Channel and, after unloading, the very pooped Vilmos went to bed early. Sober.

I get an invitation each year but never accept it. My immune-system may be weaker than the average, it can handle flu without aid - helping it out when it does not need it does not sound like a good idea to me.

I believe that I did not get one last year, and I was knocked out for weeks; at least two, and I think three; maybe a full month.

Sorry, but that sounds like a very lazy immune-system.
Go find some germs to train it.

The germs here aren't like the germs there. These germs work out at the gym and watch training videos.

..in that case, lower your bar; try to pre-train your immune system with stuff that is not dangerous, like spicy food and fermented drinks

Interesting question...
If you choose to get be vaccinated, as others have suggested, the 'season' would be your early Autumn... if you delay, you may have the flu before you get your shot.
Or, you can allow your immune system to work without it and not get the shot. I do not get flu shots; I don't remember the last time I had the flu. The last 'serious' illness was almost 2 years back when I think I had viral pneumonia over Christmas.. plenty of fluids and rest. When the virus left my body, I had a body wide rash... antihistamine shot from the doctor cleared the rash.

The whole flu-shot thing is a really hit-and-miss proposition. It's based on best guesses as to what will be coming around.
In a good year it's 50% effective. The last on in the US was less than 20% effective. Not too many years ago there was a version that made many people as sick as the flu in terms of aches and pains.
Even when found to be ineffective, it is pushed to the public as the big pharmaceutical companies that make it will only do so if the governments assure them a profit by pushing the vaccines no matter what its effect.
In theory, the people who need it are those who's health condition puts them at risk to the effects of the flu - a century ago, dying from the flu was considered death by natural causes and rather common. People (in the West, at least) are healthy enough to withstand the flu unless they're quite old or infirm.

On this Quora post[^], the guy said he uses 6 screens for his daily use, as a programmer. I will say, that he didn't have the ALT + TAB keys or they don't work; where as he claims he doesn't have to press them.
I have used one screen at a time, for everything, everytime! OriginalGriff once wrote about his 2 screens, well that is fair enough I also have a secondary laptop and I use it for chatting purposes if I am working, but 6?
