Hey, I honestly tried to find the solution from the pattern. But when I couldn't, I cheated. But if you look at the word, there's no way to get it from the pattern.
You have just been Sharapova'd.

indeed, without any clue you could never ever get the solution

Can one of you answer it then please?

Just because you said please: "Bookkeeper".

Well done to your program

Does that mean he has to write a program over the weekend to set the next one?
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

As a serious suggestion, the "Mastermind" scoring system did make it easier, and more of a game that it is at present. Perhaps it should be the standard, rather than needing a pattern matching program to find the solution?

I guess so, but since i don't know the mastermind rules i guess i can't update the rules

Mastermind rules:
a correct character in the correct place: black
a correct character in the wrong place: white
Count and post and number of black and white.

Okay we will update this in the rules

Already updated in the rules, will tell everyone on monday

Lying bunch of sunshines.

Generally (yes)?
Or specifically in one case you just noticed?
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

A general thing triggered by a specific.
It is annoying that they are allowed to write things that are shown to be false if you read the story.
It is more annoying that so many people these days lack the attention span to read an actual article and just form their opinions from misleading adverts.
Just another way that news sites no longer try to inform, they just control or direct opinion.
Some men are born mediocre, some men achieve mediocrity, and some men have mediocrity thrust upon them.

They were always biased, but at least they pretended to be trying to inform, that is completely out of the window now with so many of them just making stuff up.

Allowed? Who would prevent them? Surely you're not demanding that they actually read and understand the story before they add the headline? You'll be saying that illustrations on paperback books should have some resemblance to the content.[^] That way madness lies!
I can usually spot them a mile away from the headline - I then make it my duty to read the whole article just to see how far they have twisted it and how far down they actually report the truth. Anything on Jeremy Corbyn is a dead cert.
One think that makes it easier is when you identify certain sources where it's much more common. That way if you have a news source that you know tends to drop these headlines it's often enough that your BS senses are tingling and its true.
Or how this one site drops new in the morning that house prices is about to drop, the real estate market is slowing down and yadda yadda and then later that same day drops an article about how the market is hot, nothing shows any sign of slowing down and everything is going up up up. Contradiction much.
