Should people still be able to post messages on his page, for example? You can make that read-only.
The final badge would be a nice way to remember those who came and went.

Just clicked through to some of his later posts, then carried on browsing the Lounge from them for a few pages.
We were all much funnier even just three years ago than we are now.

Totally agree with you there, and we were all better looking 3 years ago, except for Nagy whose always been a Minger. **
** Disclaimer - my response would have been much funnier if you were here 3 years ago.

Reminiscing isn't what it used to be! **

Just did the same (looked back on his old posts and the threads around them), and I agree with you even more. Think the reason is that we were a lot more diverse back then and a lot of regular posters who have now disappeared or seldom post (DD, viaducting, Mark Wallace, JSOP, Wizardzz, _Damien_) to name but a few. There was just a lot more people to bounce off in those days, so one follow post would be answered with a funnier response, which in turn would be answered by an even funnier post. But now The Aussies and Yanks have all but disappeared and there are just a few Brits left which seem to dominate, but it means the type of humour/interest is very narrow.
What I notice after returning from my regular Hiatuses is that I normally discover someone 'new' that I was aware of before but didn't fully appreciate how funny their posts were. I think you was the first one, years back, and more recently Mehgerbil. What I notice everytime I come back is there are less people wanting to have a laugh and more and more 'Traffic Wardens', for example posting "qwe qweew qwe..." [^] is now a ban-able offence.

Nope, I didn't aware of that. The last post I remember about him was that someone posted a thread saying Henry joined Stackoverflow. It was long time ago.
Enjoyed his posts when I was new here.

What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?
The metaphorical solid rear-end expulsions have impacted the metaphorical motorized bladed rotating air movement mechanism.
Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

Texting while driving (or holding your phone while driving) is really dangerous as you remove your concentration from driving to do something else.
I'd rather be phishing!
