I wonder how long the guy who played the stormtrooper had to hear about that one.
Still, Tie pilots[^] look more intimidating. Too bad the dirty rebels don't get to see them much when they are at work.

Yeah, the black armour made them look mean! (also like the Family Guy 'Blue Harvest' Tie fighter joke) Still I wonder if you could transfer between Storm Trooper, Biker Scout, AT-AT driver... I mean you start out on your feet and promoted up the ranks till your driving a walking block of flats...

Yes it is possible, it happened. Also TIE pilots may look more intimidating but that's a pathetic excuse for their crafts not having their own life support systems, so they had to rely on pressurized suits. They didn't even have a Hyperdrive...

Look at the Tie Defender I posted a link to somewhere above.
Did You ever play Tie Fighter. In the last missions you get the Tie defender, but the standard Tie is still great. Two fast ion engines and two lasers with a seat. What do you need more?

Once read a Star wars book about the AT-AT driver who pointed out a possibly critical design flaw of the AT-AT prototype. He found himself quickly transfered to his new post. With the stormtroopers, who were not be happy to be called 'foot soldiers'.
At my first employer we had some meaner names for the infantery, like mudskippers or moles. And they always stink like moist soil.

Just realised that I spelt competencies wrong in the technical competencies header on my CV that I've been sending out for the last month or so.
Strangely it doesn't seem to have put many people off, if they've even noticed. My face. That's what puts them off.
Top Tip: By default Word doesn't check the spelling of words that are all in capitals.

Topper tip - instead of writing in capitals, use 'init-cap' format on the font to make it look far more betterer.

If the section headers hadn't been in all caps then it would have been obvious to people that I'd made the mistake, although then I wouldn't have made the mistake. Hmm.

That's a shame as you can always correct the typo.

Well, looking at your profile, it does seem to be made from mashed potato, beans and sausages ... that would put me off at a job interview to be honest!

Yeah, I'd ask what has been happening but I'm guessing there has been a lot of talk about Bacon, PompeyBoy has reincarnated several times and Q&A's is still annoying ... Is that about right?
How's the job hunting? Not great I suppose from your other post?
