Ahh yes, making too many waves sometimes has an adverse ripple effect.

Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

By far a great resource!
I always built plugins (including authentication system) myself, now I guess I will build the servers too.
Thank you, Marc!

Having to call an unmanaged DLL from managed code.

Oh yeah, that's fun. Try calling Delphi6 dlls from C#. To make life easier I wrote an additional Delphi dll to act as gatekeeper to handle the differences between how C# (and most everything else) handles strings verses how Delphi handles them. The GateKeeper translates the strings then passes them onto the actual dll doing the work.

Heh, you should try it the other way around. Calling C# DLLs from Delphi...

I've done that too. Had to create Crystal Reports to replace Delphi's QuickReports. Had to write code to call the CrystalReports dlls from Delphi code. I thought it was easier going Delphi to C# than C# to Delphi.

Hi All,
Just had a phone interview. They always leave me with a feeling that I have just said the wrong thing. I think the guy on the end of the phone was expecting someone who had more High Frequency design experience than I have . Also this new set up with the emoticons hidden I don't really like mind you it will stop some ridden messages I suppose need (hey still works!)
|
|
|
|
|
What hidden emoticons?
They are still there to the right of my screen...
Good luck with the job though!
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

I seem to remember some talking about this yesterday as I type this I have:
Quote:
Click here to view the range of emoticons available. except the here is a link. It's strange I am still using Firefox (mind you it did update this morning). Ah well off to play with Python...

You are not alone. There are others having the same problem after Firefox has been updated to version 42.
|
|

I just checked with FireFox (version 39.0 and the latest, 41.0) and I still see them...
And you on a tablet or phone, perhaps?
