I've had Windows 10 recover nicely when the Video Driver "froze" and crashed. --- It restarted the driver, notified me of such, and then I went on my merry way...

I get those sometimes if I am toying with OpenGL or DirectX and goof up some code. My card is pretty good, though, and can run even the most graphics intensive programs without much issue. 3GB video memory, with most of mine still unused (according to the history the most that has been used is 504MB).
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?

Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

It sounds good, but signpe.exe won't run because mfc120u.dll is missing on my machine (Windows 10 Pro). Is there a safe way to get this dll?

Thanks for letting me know. I think I need to change the build options so no external DLLs are required.

OK, but I found the download for Win 10 and your little app seems to be running now! Much appreciated, thanks!

Thanks! I wanted to do that for a long time and first asked K-Sign if they would release their source code but they refused and there is no other user friendly tool.

I'm gonna download a random EXE from the internet and give it access to my key. Yeah, I'll get right on that.
But seriously...I'm sure you have all the best intent in the world. But if I'm going to trust this app, I'd rather see its source as part of an article here and I'll compile it myself.

My Microsoft AUthenticode certificate is SHA1. There is also another type - SHA. I believe it works on both but if not, let me know.

He was being sarcastic and pulling your chain. In other words, he doesn't trust some random webhead like you.

Yeh. I get that. In fact, I am considering publishing the source code anyhow. No hard feelings.

Hope you do publish the source code in an article here on CP.
Thanks for sharing your work !

Why not just use signtool.exe? Works for me and no annoying browser.

Um....something is wrong on your system. I don't believe any browser should open.
It certainly doesn't when I use it.
But at least it gave you a reason to write some good code, yes?

Sorry. I don't understand your comment. Please clarify. Why does it have anything to do with "browser". It is a desktop application for code signing.

That's what I mean. You said
"Each time a file is signed (regardless if the code signing succeed or fails), the default browser is opened with a new tab showing k-sign's web site."
That has never happened to me when I've used k-sign.
