I've been using LINE-X in my truck beds since 1993. In addition to beds, my most recent application was a truck's center console that I had coated with LINE-X. Not only did it make it waterproof (good for when soda cups spill or sweat), the black looked really sharp with the chrome hardware holding it together.

Cheap gel in a 3D printer and that coating, and I could have some fun
Not a single word on pricing though.

No, as the message-icon correctly indicates.
Print out some gel in the printer to make a mold, then apply coating. Depending on the price of the coating, you could be printing your furniture.

Maybe. Prisons, airports, train stations, summer camps and like places certainly would.

Waittaminnit, they're using it on the walls of the pentagon, in case of bomb attacks?
So if a bomb goes off, everyone will be splattered by indestructible bricks?
Me, I want an Iron-Man play-suit sprayed with it, and then appropriately painted*.

Thought this might interest you. I think you have a Shelby, I could be wrong, and you like to put together plastic model kits of cars so, I give you this link. Hope it is not a Leslie for you.

Why do I get the feeling it's going to be "Issue one only $2.99!" then just 250 issues at $19.99 each to complete your model
Oh yes...I know...it's DeAgostini and they do the same thing over here...

Yeah, I don't expect John to actually get a subscription, unless he wants one, but the model kit looks nice.

I love the Ford Mustang and have owned a few. Never been fond of the hatchback look though.

Through 1973, they're called "fastbacks". From 1974-1993, they're called "hatchbacks". From 1994-2004, they didn't have a fastback/hatchback versions. From 2007-present, they're called "coupes", but i think "fastback" is more appropriate for Mustangs, because a Mustang coupe has always had a decidedly more severe interface angle with the trunk lid. I realize that "coupes" have two doors, and sedans have four, but in the Mustang model line, there has always been a distinction made between the coupes and the fastbacks.
Interestingly, the first Mustangs were coupes and convertibles, and the fastback was released later in the 1965 model year. I suppose they called them "fastbacks" because they already had a "coupe" version and because the long sloping roof line made the car look fast, and they needed a different name for the sub-model.
Fun fact: the first Mustang prototype was a 4cyl rear-engine spyder with stationary seats and an adjustable pedal assembly.

Thanks for the information. I wonder if the "fastback" term was a Shelby invention.

No. Shelby had nothing at all to do with the development of the Mustang. In point of fact, he approached Chevrolet first for an engine for the A/C Cobra, and they weren't interested in what he was selling. Then he went to Ford, and they were eager to play along in order to get their new small block V8 introduced (the first A/C Cobra was powered by a 260 CID V8). Development of the now famous GT350 Mustang was started AFTER the A/C Cobra program started.

Cool info, John! My first car was a '67 Mustang, with a 289 for the powerplant. I did a few things to it, and thereafter ate most other cars in my neighborhood for lunch. Of course, back then gas was $0.26 a gallon, so I could afford to have a car that got 8 mpg with a tailwind. I miss that beast...

My first car was a 66 Coupe with 289/2bbl/auto. It was prairie bronze and had a vinyl roof and pony interior. That car was stolen.
A friend of mine with a gorgeous grabber blue '69 428 fastback asked if I wanted to trade cars - I'm real tempted to do it (if he has a little cash to offer with the trade).
