Even if IE/Edge fell to 1% you'd still have about 74,000,000[^] people that use it. All of them will be your "enterprise" customers that you don't want to lose

Except 1% of the market share is not the same as 1% of the world's population.
The estimate[^] is that 46.1% of the world's population have internet access.
So at 1%, you'd only have around 34 million users to worry about.
(And most of them will probably be stuck on IE6.)

And of that 46.1%, 38.5% are Nigerian princes trying to get their family fortune out of the country.

The single unified browser is just rainbows and unicorns -- it'll never happen. With adoption like that, Chrome is primed to become the next browser attack surface of choice, if it isn't already. After a while, it will get a bad name due to all its security vulnerabilities, and then people will start migrating to the next new one. History does repeat itself, over and over again.
We can program with only 1's, but if all you've got are zeros, you've got nothing.

It's a tragedy and it's great that nobody was hurt but it's quite a show. The real fireworks start around 1:10.

Heard about it on the BBC News Channel, rather unimpressive footage, that is closer and you can see the bang better!

It was described on BBC news as "an anomaly on the launchpad" which I felt was a little under selling it.

Still better than the "rapid unscheduled disassembly" that somebody used a few months ago.

Not really, it is just part of rocket science development; things blow up; ideally, they blow up in a controlled way and the rocket goes up instead of everywhere.
Just to highlight the fact that safety measures are really high because of that fact.

Spot on.
The expression "It ain't rocket science" doesn't exist for no good reason.

C# code can't cause this due to the automatic Gremlin-collector.
