Swiss companies create first donkey milk chocolate bar[^]

I had a camel milk chocolate bar a few weeks back. Someone brought it back from a trip to Dubai. Gave me the hump.

Donkey milk is so good on its own that it wouldn't need chocolate. But hey if I'd try it!

Talked to a friend this weekend about that.. businesses have to be concerned about product compatibility with their existing tool set, and testing of that can take months. So, while their may be a 'new kid on the block', adoption of same will be slow.
Last year, we moved to Windows 7 and Windows Server 2012 as a corporation. I would expect the next big move to be Windows 10, but that is still years away.

We develop an enterprise scale application (and we are Microsoft partners) and we put a 'no' stick on W10 for our customers IT...
However our customers are colleges and universities, so a large number (over 90%) of the users are not controllable (the students), but even so, our logs show less than 7% of the users are from W10 (while 30% and growing are from mobile)...
Skipper: We'll fix it.
Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

The kind of business I work with is airgapped, with the exception of few "potential security breachpoints", and the idea that winio demands permanent, persistent, intrusive access from a foreign corporation is absolutely unsupportable.
i.e. it ain't gonna happen.
Numerous Linux (and linux-server/windows-client hybrid) trials are in progress. If they go well, a lot of others will use their findings, but none of the trials even consider winio as an option.

I work for one of the big ones and IT has not approved Windows 8/8.1 or 10 for use on employee workstation/laptop.
Obviously we need to test our software on those platforms, so we have a number of VMs and physical systems with Windows 8.1 and 10 in our labs.

I think the progress of migrating is slow to Windows 10, but it's only a matter of time before they will have no choice. Microsoft will not allow another XP type situation. Also vendors that claim they are certified to work on Windows platforms will eventually need to move to Windows 10 else they will lose their certification.

Yes, indeed the majority of business have already migrated to Windows 10 since unlike Windows 7/8/8.1 it provides a better performance as well as having the number of new features such as the same platform for either PC and mobile gadgets like tablets and phones.

care to back that up with real info (both "majority of business" as well as "better performance", because every other reply to this question here and elsewhere, (and my own experience) says exactly the opposite is true, and as to performance out of the box it is the same (and worse than a hyper-tuned w7 - which btw can not be done to w10 to anywhere near the same level.)
And the question was MAJOR companies, not uncle Ernies Corner Deli.

We did it. Simple. No big deal at all. At least no different than other major OS upgrades in the past.
