Has the "free west" lost so much of its energy that it has to be in fear of russia.
Maybe the "western world" is the problem with doing much things wrong like having some false allies, bad education and a bag full of ugly social problems

I'm not seeing the link, aside for the obvious eye-roller. Is that what you're actually inferring?

Let's see, you've implicated the Russians and are now implicating the Lebanese. How long do we have to wait before you post something about US hacking campaigns? Or do you also turn a blind eye to that topic as well?

Oi! what about the Chinese? and not to forget the North Koreans? Gotta blame them too...
... and as long as everybody is kept focused at the other "scary nations" they will have no inkling what their own people are doing.

True indeed.
Thumbs up for your "scary nations" comment as it is consistent with the point I am making.

Surely that has to be one of the most vacuous responses posted in forums. Do you have anything of substance to offer other than parroting a fatuous cliche?

The fact that you are so defensive and combative with certain members here, Cornelius in particular, is proof to me that you are either 100% certifiably insane or you need to step away from the drugs. There really is no other logical explanation.
I bid you good day, sir.

Defensive and combative????
The articles Cornelius offers are really nothing more than click-bait - they have little to no substance. Their only spurious value is little more than propaganda. I have offered references that illustrate just how lacking in content the articles are that he references. Does he read my references and respond? No, he remains silent.
Is the purpose of posting references at CodeProject to stimulate discussion, even with those who challenge the points you make? Or is it simply to pollute the forums with nonsense and ignore those who do not agree with you? My impression of Cornelius is the latter.
Cornelius has accused me of antisemitism, a very serious accusation. This was no basis for this accusation. A person of integrity and honesty would have admitted their mistake and offered an apology. Cornelius did not do this.
Cornelius posted yet another short MSN article bereft of any real facts about Lebanese hackers. He offers no commentary, not even a witty joke - 'he ain't no Kent Sharkey'. My current opinion is Cornelius posts references to topics that he knows little about. If he is not willing to engage in an open discussion that challenge his references then he should not be posting these references - it is that simple.
How does Cornelius respond to all of this? He ignores me and persists in posting click-bait articles.

You seem to be a bit confused.
There is no general answer to "posting at CodeProject". In general, so far as I know, the only rule that is enforced everywhere is no spam and no ads.
Clearly this post was neither.
Other than that posts must reflect the nature of the forum they are in, and nothing else. So no posts about C# in the Java forum.
This forum is the "Lounge". So the general rule is no specific programming questions and no topics that are too political nor too obscene. Those latter two go into the Soapbox.
Nothing in this post suggests that it is programming nor that it extremely political or obscene.
Ian Bell, #2 wrote: How does Cornelius respond to all of this?
None of the forums require that. They do not require specific responses nor any responses at all.

I agree that there is no general answer to "posting at CodeProject".
I will assume you have not taken my comment about posting (to stimulate conversation or to pollute the forum) literally, as the only two purposes/reasons for posting.
It is also commonly understood by all that responses are not required. So we are in agreement on this point.
You noted nothing was inappropriate in the post. I will assume you are referring to the entire thread and not just Cornelius's OP.
I will assume you do not actually believe that very political and obscene topics are acceptable in the Soapbox.
See, there is no confusion.

Although this has clearly seeped from Lounge to Soapbox level, I cannot help but heap ridicule on the insecure twerps who try to blame the US for everything - and if they cannot, then they simply wave their conspiratorial flag.
Foil hats are more stylish in the Soapbox - a good place for you to hole up for the winter.
