Yes, English is a stupid language.
We still use the German plural for Oxen, Bretheren, Women, and Men!
Lives and lives are pronounced differently. Fox comes from one source language, Vixen (female fox) from another, and uses the German feminine ending.
English is a real mess.

Very much, some Celtic sentence structure, with old saxon thorwn on top, mixed with old norse, and then norman french.
Then an attempt to latinise it in the middle ages.
Its a complete f*** up from start to finish!

As part of the latinisation we had 'nidulate' in English. Didnt last long, fortunately. It means to build a nest.

* Duck ramen.
And I lunched two hours ago...

Good. Then you probablky also know how to make a good Teriyaki sauce? All the recipes can agree upon is, that somwhow soy sauce has to be in it. And at least a majority also wants to see Sake in it.

I couldn't cook if my life depended on it. I can cook any form of pasta with basic sauces and nothing more.
But my favourite chinese and japanese dealers restaurants surely know how to cook.
Have you ever tried Umeshu (often called Takara Plum, Plum Wine or Plum Sake)? I am definetely addicted to it, and my wife (who dislikes all alcoholic beverages) loves it too.

Very sure. The greedy ducks would race towards a piece of bread in the water and sometimes a carp would come up and gulp it down before the ducks could reach it. Sometimes several of them would be lurking just below the surface and look where the bread landed, just like the ducks.

Don't even bother.
Carp is a big bag of bones.

Felt quite dramatic. Cops in India are well known for their lazy and untimed responses for emergency calls. But this one's a bit different. Feel quite grateful for these people who are risking their lives to save someone else's.
