It would not surprise me if they seed some nice 'finds' at Oak Island I suspect that if there ever was a treasure, it was found in 1795 by the three boys who originally discovered the 'money pit' and they spun a tale to make it seem it was still there, perhaps in an attempt at "security through disinformation." The reason the holes keep filling up is not because of clever traps engineered by the pirates/Knights Templar/Phoenicians/whoever but because they are digging below the water line, and act surprised when water begins to pour in. The majority of 'experts' they bring in to verify finds, or who bring them things that are supposed to be clues I find to be BS artists and fakes. For example, the one who determined purely through a photograph that the lead cross was really the Phoenician goddess Tanit and that it was 2,000 years+ old? Balderdash.
Still, it's an amusing show.
If you think 'goto' is evil, try writing an Assembly program without JMP.

Not that I watch it, but isn't the History channel supposed to be the one with wall-to-wall WWII documentaries?

I liked the 'Nazi Megastructures' series, but that was on National Geographic channel I think ...

It hasn't been that for a long time. Hardly ever see an actual documentary on there any more.
After all, it has to be aliens, right?

Ok, anything called the "history" channel that talks about aliens needs to be blocked from the TV.
I had no idea it had gotten that bad.

It has. There is very little that resembles history any more.

So...the History channel nowadays has as much to do with history as Fox News is "fair and balanced"...?

They'll probably never actually know whether or not you can code or not anyway.

...makes it necessary for them to do what machines can't, which is to be adaptable, critical thinkers who can lead and communicate well
Given the youngun's goming out of the mill these days those aren't "soft skills," for what I've seen lately those are definite "non skills" if not "unlikely to ever have skills."

Which automatically implies that machines can code...
Skipper: We'll fix it.
Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

Clearly they need to collaborate and communicate on their code. I got an Nginx "bad gateway" error.

It works - though I'd doubt the description of "trains" as "High-speed vehicles"!

Believe it or not, trains are really fast - dangerously so. That's why we have a 20mph speed limit for them in the UK.
