you post ?
«... thank the gods that they have made you superior to those events which they have not placed within your own control, rendered you accountable for that only which is within you own control For what, then, have they made you responsible? For that which is alone in your own power—a right use of things as they appear.» Discourses of Epictetus Book I:12

I know, that sounded a bit presumptuous, more of a 'lastpost' in Dutch

I hope you will both be very happy together!
But £869 SIM only?
I've bought cars for less than that!

But you can't surf on the web with such cars.
(and you can neither go for a drive with such cars).

Oh, you can! I think my best was buying a car for £10, and selling it a year later for £10 to the guy I bought it off of...

Now I need a picture of that 'car'.

I don't have any - it was never important enough to me to take a photo (It would have cost half the value of the car to have the roll of film developed and printed!)
It was a Simca (a French make that vanished - thankfully - in the seventies) but as to model? Not sure. Probably a "Elephanting 'orrible".
It was a damn good car to drive in London: everyone got out of it's way as it was obvious it didn't care if it hit something, and nobody boxed you in. Or at least not twice. I'm reasonably sure it was insured.

Nope. Pre-order means you get it pre-release date (the 16th), mine comes in on the 9th.

So it's beta testing?
On the serious side, the headphones should also be really good. I have a lot of faith on AKG.

Or the same as a pre-production deployment

And what's happening in Redmond, O'Hanlon

Phone wise, the far end of bog all. I haven't used a Windows phone for 4 years now because, while I loved my old WinPhone, the lack of apps was a complete phone killer for me.

The problem there was : no demand for the phone == no apps produced == less demand for the phone == ...

The problem was more basic than that. Microsoft offered money for people to develop apps so low quality developers threw out low quality apps to get the money cheap.

I have always suspected that's how they wrote Windows 8 in the first place.

Anyway, I'm more than happy with Windows 8.

Ok, I believe you, but I get the impression that he is more of a celebrity here in Holland than in the rest of the world. I once read a book of him 'trawler' which was very enjoyable
