Dogs are generally happy in grass. They eat it too often. Don't if this one likes it and the owner understands his dog's behaviour.
There are plenty of people who love their pet dogs. But they do not understand that particular breed's needs, and are not interested in doing all the other work that comes along with it.
I have seen many people around where I live who have no clue about how to take care of Labradors. Most of those dogs appear to be extremely overweight due to incorrect nutrition and absolute lack of exercise. This leads to plenty of health problems for poor dogs. Also, many of them I have seen buy cute puppies and then simply get rid of them after few months as they grew too big too fast.
There must be some mandatory education before one can own a pet.

EDUCATION JOB ONE
- Don't take your pet to relieve themselves anyplace but on your own property.
- Supposed 'Cleanup' isn't adequate - until you're ready to sit there.
- Have your pet wash the tires on your own :elephant"ing car.
- Life isn't a cartoon: A fire hydrant is an official relief station.

I now get to the "Windows is updating, don't turn off your computer" in under 5 seconds!
Great purchase.

Get Fedora... Not just you have no restart after update, but you can work during it...

I'm thinking counterproductive (productive = fruitful and overall definition matches) but I can't get counter from "Centre of O".

Like crap -- just got over a month of bronchitis and now have it again.
I quit smoking about 8 years ago but the damage of smoking for so many years is rearing it's ugly head.

Nasty - I feel for you.
But think of it this way: if you hadn't given up, it'd probably be even worse. I gave up in '04 and am damn glad I did - especially when I look at how much they cost now!

Was the best decision I ever made!

Gave up drinking and smoking at the same time so I definitely am saving money now.

It took me a few more years to give up drinking - I'm a slow learner sometimes.

I hope you will get much better soon - very soon...
You should try these things:
* use a 'humidifier' while resting/sleeping
* drink a lot of fresh lemonade with honey
* cut a big onion and put away in honey for 24 hours - eat 3-5 teaspoons of the juice 3 times a day

I don't know why such events have to be organized in these stone age countries (w.r.t Govt & policies), in the first place.

Saw a documentary by Simon Reeves about Turkey, and although tourism has suffered in the last years, the so called "Halal" hotels are booming.

Absolutely not. Their religion is as "pre-medieval" as some forms of Christianity, and when you visit such folks like that you do your best not to offend right? Or otherwise would you be happy for visiting bushmen to ignore your local culture and slaughter animals in front of your children? Or have Germans, in whose homeland public nudity is allowed, to visit your grandparents naked?
When in Rome, ... those women, everyone, should be sensitive to local culture.
Your comment is plain stupid, and even more using it to degenerate another's religion hugely offensive.

Among other charming features, the culture that you are defending is degrading to women in general and to the women mentioned in the article in particular. Said women have decided not to stay silent in the interest of professional expediency, but to speak out. They find the hijab offensive, and have therefore decided to stay at home. What is wrong with cheering them on?

The fact that beliefs are sincerely held does not immunize them against ridicule.
