Got the Creality 3D® CR-10 DIY 3D Printer Kit [^] today, got it set up and printing the test product now. Looks like this is going to be a very nice machine.

Congrats! Maybe you'll write up an article on a small project and post?
I've been wanting to get into the 3D print side myself, but I don't even know where to start.

Just getting into it myself, been waiting for prices to come down and technology to mature.
A friend of mine bought one of these about a year ago so I'm drawing on his experience, plus he was a CAD operator years ago so can help me with drawing models up.

Please come back and add a review. I'm truly curious about your experiences. I've been interested in this for a while, but not too seriously. This finally seems like an affordable price-point to play at.

I'll do my best. I've got a load of projects on my plate right now I need to finish.
If you have any specific questions I can try to answer them, feel free to PM me.

Nothing fancy required, just three questions: did it work out of the box? did it continue to work after a month? do you feel you got value for your money?
If the answers are yes * 3, I'm willing to take a little gamble on some builds I'd like to attempt.

1) It did work out of the box, I was really impressed. Main thing is to level it right, I took the time and really spent time on this step and it payed off.
2) The guy that got me interested and the reason I bought this model has had his for a year and still loves it. He's printed many things for me and they have come out looking nice. Slow to print but hey who's in a hurry right?
3) Was it worth the money? Well some of the things I plan to print would be hard if not impossible to find, such as gears, custom parts for robots, arms, etc.. Project cases are really hard to find the ones I want and if I can find them they are really expensive. I made a custom box for my breadboard and computer I use to provide square waves etc., cases that I priced where $50+.
My girl friends son came over last night and he plans on printing custom car parts.
So the answer is yes I am sure I will get my monies worth out of it.

Great! What are you going to use it for?
I'm printing the engine section of a Space 1999 Eagle[^] right at this moment. Third try, but it seems to go well this time.
Last week, after getting the printer to work again, I printed this little robot[^].
And then there still is my Huey[^] which I should finally finish and get some paint on it. I still want to fly that thing this summer.
Edit: I forgot the General Motors Marauder[^] that's also waiting for some paint.

Wow I'm impressed, you have done some really nice work.
If it wouldn't be too presumptuous could I get the robot files? Please!

Just follow the link and download them. And take a look around, because there is much, much more. Even the Yoda bookends.
Edit: Now he's gone. He downloaded the files, fired up the printer and then started to look through Thingiverse for more fodder. We will not hear from him for days now...

What? This "Bang_Good" is an international site? I was thinking it's a local one in India.

What? No printer webcam to let us see what you are printing yet?
What kind of filament are you using? I saw that your printer is very open and has no heated printbed. Better use PLA for starters. It's less prone to warping, which may happen with such a printer.

Our Summer Fun with Arduino Challenge has been so much fun that we've decided to extend it for another month! But we will be announcing the winners of round 1 on July 2nd, so if you haven't already got your article in there, please send it in by tomorrow.
Congrats to our spot prize winner of the day Ewen Phillips! We hope you have fun experimenting with your brand new Raspberry Pi 3B+ starter kit.

Out of curiosity -- I completed the first level challenge and entered my secret code as binary. However, there are no instructions as to whether you want the code as binary, hex, or decimal, and if binary, LSB or MSB first.
So which is it? Or do you accept all?
