I have a sinking feeling that you're not requesting an anchor to my past comment, but that's what you get.

If so, then wouldn't a documentary about building fiberglass boats come to a sticky end?

I just got started on a list of small web applications that company policy has decided to do using Apex - Oracle's supposedly RAD environment.
It took a few days to get used to it but I am actually starting to enjoy it. It's different.
Anyone else done this? Comments, gotchas, etc.
Note: Don't tell me to use some other tool - I am stuck with this one and am making the best of it despite it's quirks.
- I would love to change the world, but they won’t give me the source code.

Ever since the engine swap I did in my car back four years ago, every warning light in the instrument cluster has been illuminated.
Beginning this weekend, I think the car has finally just GOTTEN frustrated, threw up its hands, and turned all of the warning lights off. In their place is a single warning light that simply reads, "WTF?!"

This is one of those cases of "pics or it didn't happen".

The warning light is a big, red annoying thing, right?
I think I spotted it.
(and how on Earth can you drive a car around for a day, let alone 4 years, with the warning lights on? That would have driven me insane.)

It's like coding with Microsoft tools - after a while you ignore the warnings, go head-down, and code your ass off.

Just tell us you investigated the warning lights, found no problem but were unable to figure out how to get them to turn off.

Check Engine - no way to turn it off because most of the OEM sensors are missing
Traction control - no way to turn it off because the electric power steering rack was replaced with a hydraulic one
Seat belt - there's a way to turn it off, but I don't care (the OEM seat belts are long gone)
Air bag - no way to turn it off because OEM seats are long gone
Battery - no way to turn it off because computer doesn't support new alternator connection
ABS - no way to turn it off because a seemingly non-related sensor is missing
WTF?! - because it's tired of telling me about the missing sensors and other "safety" equipment

Since it was known to be useless moving forward when the mods were made, why wasn't the Check Engine light simply disconnected?
(that was the option one of my uncles opted for, when he could no longer afford to fix his vehicle)

It's a surface mount LED on the instrument cluster - not possible to disconnect it.
