Hi all,
I've just acquired an old heat accumulator to put it at our office.
I have installed a TP-Link intelligent plug into the power connection (the one that charges the device with heat), that way I can charge the accumulator only at cheap night hours and stop it's power income at the desired hours even from outside the office.
I have a small basic and super old EBERLE thermostat connected through 2x220v cables at the connectors R and LE of the heat accumulator, this thermostat opens and closes the air output of the accumulator, making it empty it's stored heat into the office only when it is needed.
Given I'm a freelance my timetable is not constant that old thermostat will keep the air flow on all day while I'm outside and also during nights...
I'd love being able to set a low temperature during night/away hours and a temperature for working hours at the office and, like in the power stage (TP-LINK intelligent plug), being able to activate/deactivate it remotely.
Which thermostat would you recommend me?
PS: A good bonus option would be having the thermostat itself far away from the heat accumulator.
Thank you very much!

These aren't strictly IoT - they don't talk direct to the internet, thank gawd - but ... they are both stupid and NFC eanabled: Smart Flip flops ("thongs" for our antipodean members, I believe)[^]

As far as I can see... Those shoes do nothing. I could have the app without or without them! Therefore they are not really IoT!
So disappointed now...
