Yes, and you understand that. However, the main sample shows the first column labelled "ID" containing numbers (even though as string values). So a relatively inexperienced user would assume that sorting by ID would list numbers 4 and 5 before 11 and 12, rather than the other way round.

Picture implies he wants to number the rows in the gutter. I don't see how sorting is going to help with that

Ok, thanks for the all the feedback to the post I had done previously. After much reading and watching I have decided to............
......drum roll........
......go with the Anycubic Mega-S, should be delivered in time for me getting home from offshore! So something to look forward to in November! Here is one of the many reviews I have watched to come to the decision: Anycubic Mega-S 3D Printer Review - YouTube
Will see where this goes!

Any idea what you want to print? I have an ongoing battle between my 3D printed Marauder[^] and the cleaning lady. No doubt it will be in pieces again when I come to work on monday. Perhaps I should print it again, this time a little bigger and with some real robot servos and lasers. I just don't have any source for miniature particle cannons or autocannons yet.

Just build a model Railgun[^] - you might need a good supply of AA cells to run it though...

Not good enough. On the Nostromo[^] it was barely sufficient to make coffee.

As a starter........
Some cases for my various electronic boards. (Arduino, beagles, raspi, parallelas, beans, logis and god knows what else is in the drawer!)
Replacement arm for a cooling fan. (the arm that allows it to move left to right, sprog broke it, tried a repair once already, but where it broke it needs a new part.)

This is what I will be using my 3d printer for as well, when I get that far. Just now getting into Arduino, RasPi, etc. Fun times a head.

I don't know how those get, but be aware that PLA has a glass temperature[^] much lower than ABS: 60 ~ 65C compared with 105 ~ 110C. So if parts get hot (or are to go in the car) PLA is probably a bad idea.
And also that ABS gives off toxic fumes and needs to be used in a well ventilated area!

Here's a tip for all those who need to determine to whom the REPLY of an OP's thread has been made, in order to bolster the coherence of the conversation by making sure they are timely and ultimately targeting the correct sub-text:
Fire up any expensive (+$5000.00 standalone) application which is no longer supported by the manufacturer because they've opted to move forward using the subscription model of licensing ... and you have it's shortcut persisting on your desktop because you're still contemplating psychotherapy ... move the frame of the app to the margin where the CP thread dog-ear icon under question appears ... now, using this expensive app frame as a vertical ruler, scroll (on the CP Lounge page under scrutiny) using the mouse and the scroll-bar margin right ... and the determination will become unremarkably irredeemable.
I know, it's probably a TIP and not a Lounge post. But it looks like most of you have posted Monday's posts on Thursday; today.

I think that was a "random luck" achievement, and now they can't keep the quality after changing to Chromium in the inner structure.
The easiest (and probably the reason that will bring less laughs / anger) is to hide the facts and just end support publicly saying "feature" or "planned deadline"

No, it used to argue with me about that as well ... "Are you sure you want to close all nnn tabs?"
Yes. I am. I didn't want them anyway, it's just your lack of ad blockers that opened the damn things in the first place...
It is tolerable for downloading Chrome however (though it moans about it every time I do).

I was also using Edge to read ePub books.
Now, what is the alternative (preferably free)?

I never read books on the PC, always on a phone or tablet and use FBReader for android, can't recommend it highly enough.
Calibre as the library, dropbox the storage and FBReader on the devices works perfectly and I share the dropbox location with my kids.
