...an article gets updated and I don't realize / remember I've read it before. So I read it with interest and I'm thinking, wow, this is really interesting and I think I'll leave a comment...
...only to realize once I look at the comments that I've already read it and commented on it!
Such was the case this morning with Some Fun with Dynamic Methods and CLR (Part 2)[^]
I think my brain needs an augment.

Look at the bright side: As the condition progresses, you meet more interesting new people, watch more new movies, read new books and articles. Every day.
I have lived with several Zen masters - all of them were cats.
His last invention was an evil Lasagna. It didn't kill anyone, and it actually tasted pretty good.

As I get older I'm finding that having multiple personalities and memory lose has allowed me to meet new and interesting people also.

It must be like playing Oblivion. You eventually are the champion of the arena, archmage of the academy, boss of the warriors guild. And the thieves guild, the Dark Brotherhood and..
And somehow this guy still finds time to sroll through the gates of Oblivion and spank the Daedra for what they did.

Do the Thieves Guild first: serious sneak - and the Grey Fox cowl - really helps with the Dark Brotherhood questline. Kill anyone you want in front of the guards wearing it, take it off and they stop hunting you. It's also possible to keep the Boots of Springheel Jak, which helps a lot as well.

Great point! Except ultimately my life will be reduced to binge watching all my favorite Netflix and Amazon shows!

You know that saying with the gift horse? You have won the lottery. Don't question it. Enjoy it.

That's even better. You get to hunt down the guy who stole your identity and publishes stuff in your name every day. Strangely enough, the hamsters seem to be less enthusiastic about it.

Identity theft seems to be a real problem around here. Remember what the hamsters said when you reported your discovery?

I worked for a company and wrote a utility function. I had a problem and called the help desk to find out who could best help me. After a short delay, they gave me my name and phone number! I was no help to me at all!

The daily news had a story from gartner about technology trends,
one of the top 10 items was "Human Augmentation"
It reckons this is using technology to help humans
but:
- from the title (my initial guess before reading the description)
- but even more-so from real life
I really think gartner has that bass-ackwards.
OIOW: hands up anyone else finds themselves an extention a slave to technology
