For some reason - and I have no idea why, the first response that came to mind was eating rice with one chopstick.
I'll work on why it came to mind, you may wish to work on what my id meant.

GOTOs are a bit like wire coat hangers: they tend to breed in the darkness, such that where there once were few, eventually there are many, and the program's architecture collapses beneath them. (Fran Poretto)

The hardcover is $4.96 (on same page). So, tell me:
If I buy the hard-cover and tear off the hard cover, how much do you think I could get for it?

Better hang on to it for another 20 years, because the price will rise exponentially and you'll be able to retire on the $4,839,283,356.62 that you get when it sells at auction at Sotheby's.

I was looking for a book on the Z80 and a new hard bound edition was $13K. I tried to go back and find it but failed.
It's been 6 months since I joined the gym and there's been no progress. I'm going there tomorrow in person to find out what's really going on!

Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

Yeah, when I originally saw the paperback of Petzold for $973 the hardback was listed at @ $298 or something, but then it disappeared.
