Up to €400 here in the Netherlands, about a seventh of the average monthly income.
It's sad it has come to this.
If everyone stayed at home we'd have corona under control in a few weeks and we could resume our lives as usual.
Unfortunately, most people are trash
I've always said, just throw a big bomb on China, we don't need them.
And then bomb the rest of Asia, way too crowded over there!
From there you're close to the Middle East, so bomb them too, nothing but trouble there anyway.
And then just continue bombing Africa and eradicate hunger, extreme poverty and a few diseases.
Of course America is next on the bombing list because they're all hootin' tootin' dumb ass rednecks.
Then South America for its corruption and drugs.
We're then left with Europe, which is fine... Except of course Eastern Europe, so drop those bombs.
Also Southern Europe.
I probably don't have to explain why the UK needs to go too.
I'm not fond of the French either.
I'd bomb The Netherlands, but I live there
Then bomb everything I haven't mentioned because people are ass hats there too.
Everything in Australia is already trying to kill them so no bombs necessary.
I'm (sort of) kidding of course, I wouldn't want bombs to be thrown, but you get my drift
But it would sure solve a lot of problems (including panic buying and getting together while we shouldn't).

Killing everyone to prevent a pandemic may be an effective solution, but does have a self-defeating element to it.

Or you could just organize an itinerant huge macro festival and invite all people after a week home "arrest". Then see how corona accomplishes the same without having to throw bombs and destroy all the landscape.
Same result, less destruction.

I haven't seen that, but did see this a few minutes ago on the BBC website:
If they do not accept the advice, they would then be given a fine. However, fines won't be issued until Parliament passes the emergency legislation - which should be by the end of Thursday.
The Home Office could not say, at this stage, how big the fines are likely to be.

Fairly sure it was on the BBC news last night, but it's repeated here: Coronavirus: UK lockdown last for up to 6 months with on-the-spot fines - Business Insider[^]
But to be honest, the list of "reasons to be out of your house" are so broad that it'd be really difficult to prove intent unless you are caught 100 miles from home and work with a bucket and spade in the back of the car ...

Although people were idiots all flocking to the same places at once, I think it's also a convenient excuse for what was going to happen anyway.
There again I was an idiot for going to Tesco at 6:15am on Saturday - because everyone else thought it would be quiet at that time.
I don't think there is much else that can be done.

The Air Force just sent out an email asking people to only use VPN when it's absolutely necessary.
Well, because of their over the top and absurd security policies, we CAN'T WORK unless we're VPN'd in. F*ckin retards...

Yeah, I sort of said "no" to not being able to work offline; no multiple monitors; etc. It's the "data" that's important (usually).
Screen shots will still capture "code"; VPN or no VPN.

The problem these days is finding any barbarians.
They even have smartphones and indoor toilets in Alaska, now.

Point out to them that what they're doing is taking your guns away because they're short on shells, then telling you to practice by dry-firing the guns.
They might understand it in those terms.

is more difficult with multiple personalities: mine have different definitions of "in," and "out."
i have the same problem with them that Alice had with Humpty-Dumpty:Quote: "I don't know what you mean by 'glory'," Alice said.
Humpty Dumpty smiled contemptuously. "Of course you don't- till I tell you. I meant 'there's a nice knock-down argument for you!'"
"But 'glory' doesn't mean 'a nice knock-down argument'," Alice objected.
"When I use a word," Humpty Dumpty said, in rather a scornful tone, "it means just what I choose it to mean- neither more nor less."
"The question is," said Alice, "whether you can make words mean so many different things."
"The question is," said Humpty Dumpty, "which is to be master-that's all."
Alice was too much puzzled to say anything; so after a minute Humpty Dumpty began again. "They've a temper some of them- particularly verbs: they're the proudest- adjectives you can do anything with, but not verbs- however, I can manage the whole lot of them! Impenetrability! That's what I say!"
