There are many more people of this kind than we actually need, and some of them can really do / are doing a lot of damage.

David Icke's like can make a conspiracy theory even for atoms... like the rich are collecting atoms as part of a global conspiracy and we will soon run out of atoms....

I didn't know that. Quick - tell your friends. Must rush off to get some atom before they all go.

During the cold war, there were anti-nuclear-weapons movements demanding "atom free zones". One thing: Those zones would be rather empty places.

Nice, I wasn't aware of that one.
Personally, I like the bumper sticker from the greenies, presenting nukes (as in power plants, not weapons) as evil and clamoring for solar panels instead. I guess nobody explained to them the sun is the biggest nuclear power plant in the entire solar system.
Or those who want everything to be "chemicals-free".

I've seem a lot more "conspiracy" theories on Facebook aimed at people, not technology. Former and current presidents of the US, one political party or the other, one congressman/woman or the other, or a nation. But, not yet technology. The only way 5G networks could cause this problem is because of it faster speed compared to 4G, which allowed the maker of the virus better communications to get to market quicker?

Yeah I thought he would too!
It's a sad day, I been listening to him since 75 and he never ceased to amaze me.
I did get to see him in concert at a smallish venue 6 years ago or so.

I've seen him a couple of times over last few years, and he never failed to deliver, in a very down to earth, wonderful kind of way.

Today marks the first day of online classes for one of the subjects I'm taking. The meeting got dropped in the middle of the lecture and we had no idea why.
Later we received Professor's email saying
"I was using my phone for meeting and I thought you guys were sending me spam messages but it was actually my phone warning me of low battery. Sorry folks! see you in the next class"
Can't wait for the next class.

I hope the subject isn't "Mobile Phone Usage", although the professor's skills seem to be about normal for a university "expert".

I don't really have a bucket list or anything, but I've been wanting to do some stock trading for a while now.
In fact, about three years ago I talked to an adviser from my bank about it (which was easy since they were in the same building as employer at the time).
However, talking about it and doing it are two different things.
It's a bit scary, you can lose money, how does it work, how do you get started, etc.
I know I can just say to my bank invest some money with some risk profile and in 30 years I'll have an estimated gain of 6%, but I wanted to do this myself.
Now, with the global economy in shambles, I thought I'd just go for it.
So yesterday I bought my first stocks and today I sold them with a small profit*
Let's see if I can keep this up until I'm either extremely rich or lost my money
I'm doing this for the experience though.
Hopefully I'll make some money in the end, probably not, but for now I'm enjoying the graphs and the thrill of buying and selling at the right times
* I'm very aware of the risks, I'm doing this with money I can miss.
If I'd lost it I'd be bummed, but I can afford to shrug it off.
