I saw Dark Side of the Moon (with laser show) and Wish You Were Here, which had barely been released at that point, live in 1975. The venue was an absolute zoo, which didn't please local residents and politicians.
They also played early versions of what evolved into some Animals pieces. Someone saw a pair of headphones lying around, picked them up and put them on, and overheard a conversation that went, "Don't worry about all the mistakes. No one has heard this music before." But the rest of it was excellent.

if only i could convince the authorities that i need a fitness center open more than i need a cat ! [^]
last patient in hospital for Covid-19 in Chiang Mai discharged (alive) this week. like most most expats here, i view the reported county-wide low infection rates, and death rates, with extreme skepticism. however, i must say the lockdown and curfew are being enforced, and social distancing measures are being followed to an extent i never thought possible in this "no rules" culture.
here's a thought: is old age when you say to yourself, every day: "i don't feel like myself, lately"

For me, old age is when you don't recognize that gray-headed fat guy in the mirror!
This is happening more to me recently as I haven't shaved in about 2 months now! (54 and never had more than a stupid goat-tee back in the 90s) Now that the lock-down is just about over here, I'll probably get rid of the beard...not sure yet.

Makes sense to me, I tried fitness and running and both made me stressed and unhappy, which made me more vulnerable to sickness.
I quit it because my mom asked me to as I was completely stressed out, like someone who recently stopped smoking.
On top of that, the running gave me an injury making me walk limb for weeks.
I've never experienced a "runner's high", just exhaustion.
I've taken an holy oath never to do fitness again.
Cats make me happy, they're just little balls of happiness!
The worst that can happen is a scratch or a bite, but these cats don't seem like the type to do that.
Just looking at a cat doing cat things invokes happiness, in fact I get happy writing this and thinking about cats
[Edit]
Meanwhile, my own cat is still in hiding under the couch
The minute I posted that she came from under the couch to walk around the house a bit
[/Edit]
So cats are better for my health than fitness centers
