Jim would beam as much Jim Beam as Jim could beam, if Jim could beam Jim Beam.

Assuming he could consume as much Jim Beam as he could beam!

Jim didn't do too well on Romulan Ale when McCoy gave him some "for medicinal purposes", so I suspect Jim would beam Jim Beam as far away from Jim as Jim could beam Jim Beam. And beam widely while he did it.

Now try it with Scottie and scotch.

Does the 24th century have "Don't drink Jim Beam and Beam" campaigns?
Confronted with a dead Jim Beam bottle, Jim would not be beaming.

Everyone knows Jim Bean isn't allowed on the Enterprise. Scotty only allows Scotch on board.

Should you quit your job in the Helium factory because you refuse to be spoken to in that tone?

A noble thought indeed, but you probably won't get the reaction you were hoping for.

I'm running W10-1909 ans 2004. On both XPS viewer is still available.

Um ... I'm running 2004, and XPS viewer is still there. A quick search via the WIN key and the app appears. It opens XPS files, and double clicking on 'em opens 'em as well.

Weird... look my answer below.
There are a lot of links in a quick search saying that MS retired it. That's why I wrote my rant.

I read again your post more carefully. Now it seems to be your company's policies which restrict you from using XPS viewer. So why to blame MS for this

Because when I couldn't open them I did a quick search XPS in Windows 10 and I got a lot of links saying that it was removed.
German:
Windows 10: XPS-Viewer installieren - COMPUTER BILD[^]
Windows 10 kann XPS erzeugen aber nicht anzeigen - Administrator[^]
English:
How to access XPS Viewer in the Windows 10 April 2018 Update | Windows Central[^]
Quote: Now, starting with the April 2018 Update (version 1803), Microsoft is finally retiring support for the file format and removing the XPS Viewer app on new installations.
So... chaging from Windows 7 to Windows 10 a couple of weeks ago and then things not working plus those infos in the net... occam's razor = MS is guilty.
Trying to add the XPS Viewer myself, and not being able... IT in my company is guilty.

I can feel with you but...

... it looks like it is not MS it's the policy of your company.
[Edit]
Made a new VM with W10/2004 before some hours (only because of your post, took at least one hour ) and had no problem to add XPS viewer
