Deffo defeated me, but I believe it goes 4 hours before an answer is given... I wouldn't say no to another hint or two though

You've obviously got it. But if you can't set tomorrow, you might be able to delegate. Check with OG, he's custodian of the rules.

Go on then:

But unless @OriginalGriff wants to take the reins tomorrow, I'm going to have to "borrow" one of his clues from this thread.

I'd noticed recently that my ponytail was getting thinner - it's about half what it was. So a quick check, and yes - Covid-19 hasn't finished with us yet.
As you probably know, we had it back in April / May and it was a very, very nasty experience. And in the aftermath, I got mild Covid Eye (and it's still affecting my left eye to a small extent), Herself got Covid Toe and needed antibiotics / fungicides / blister cream, But now we're both going bald!
COVID-19 hair loss blamed on telogen effluvium: treatment, regrowth[^] It probably won't get it all, and it will - apparently - regrow, but it'll likely be a few years before the original "thickness" returns.
Is there any body system that this thing doesn't affect?
(I just checked, and ... basically, no: From ‘brain fog’ to heart damage, COVID-19’s lingering problems alarm scientists | Science | AAAS[^] )

yup, it (COVID-19) is a nasty SOB - as for hair, well, I stopped worrying about such many moons ago - my preferred look is 'billiard ball' .. if I get COVID-19 it will find something else I value and rob me of it, I'm sure
