Or you get yourself a 3D printer. Why stop when you can automate it.

Just a silly question: do you have a pet? If so, what is it?
I know that Sander - @Sanderrossel - has a cat.
I have a cat, but I'm broadminded and don't mind dogs.
Just remember: a dog may be man's best friend, but a cat won't tell the police where you hide your drugs ...

none, but I'd consider trading my two mouldy oldies who live with me for a cat

I had a cat...
Second one ran away as well
I suspect they get bullied away by the 10+ neighborhood cats...
Rest assured, the next cat won't be allowed outside for the first year or so and after that only with GPS...

You don't need a CyberCat. Just get the right cat[^].

To misquote Oscar Wilde: "To lose one cat may be regarded as a misfortune; to lose both looks like carelessness."
Perhaps you should consider a goldfish?

I've had some very bad weeks because of this incident.
It's not like I want to lose them, but cats go outside and in my case get scared off by neighbor cats or whatever.
Goblin was very social and I've kept him inside for for seven weeks, which should be enough for him to know it's his house and it's safe.
He's been outside for a bit a couple of times before, which went well.
In any case, I don't think his taking off was voluntary.
And I'm starting to doubt if Pink's was, which went exactly the same (but after ten weeks)...
Needless to say, my next cat won't be going outside in the first year or so and after that only with a GPS collar...

A Husky-Malamute-Chow-Corgi. She got lucky and looks like a small wolf (60 lbs).

I have an orange tabby cat, and a Newfoundland-Collie mix doggo. Rescued the cat when he was just a few weeks old, from the side of the road. Dog was taken to the shelter when he was about 5, and I scooped him up shortly after. Both are good, chill companions.

My son named them when he was 5.
They were the new cats, after my other two died (at 13 years): Pyanfar and Scheherazade.
