The first 50 seconds sound like they came straight from the game series, Diablo.
After listening, a craving for Diablo 2 has surfaced, and I'm longing for home.
A really nice song.

I remember I played a Diablo 2 demo once.
Back in the day I used to buy a gaming magazine which came with a CD (and later two and even later DVD) containing game demo's.
That magazine went out of business long ago and I now read another one that I also sometimes bought when I was young.
Back then I didn't have the money to buy games and now I don't have the time to play them
It still makes for a nice read in the bathroom though
Game demo's are a thing of the past though, they've been replaced by unfinished early access games.

Probably because she's just a teen talking truth to power, I'd sh*t my pants too
Full respect for her.
It's cool with the "Right here, right now" part though
I've seen Fatboy Slim two or so years ago.
Cool party, but I'm getting too old to be partying all night long (the support act started at 00:00 and Fatboy Slim played from 02:00 to 04:00)
Fun fact, back when Praise You was a hit on MTV, in 1998, I always thought she said "I have to praise you like a shoe."
I always found it odd, but I guessed shoes deserved some praise for carrying us around all day long.
It wasn't until about ten years later that I heard she wasn't saying "a shoe", but "I should"
Now I just sing along "a shoe!" for the fun of it

The other day I was inspired to look up some information about "The Flat Earth Society".
Then it occurred to me: Wouldn't a suitable name for a mountain climbing group be "The Steep Earth Society"?
I searched the net to se if anyone had chosen that name, but found none. I am not into mountain climbing myself, yet I wish there was a group by that name.

Is there a Horizontal Earth Society?
And is a Horizontal Earth flat or round?
|
|
|

Maybe "The Stupid Earth Society" would be a better name

And why isn't there a Flat Mars Society?

The reply from the Flat Earth Society is brilliant! Quote: "Hi Elon, thanks for the question. Unlike the Earth, Mars has been observed to be round," the FES replied, "We hope you have a fantastic day!" If you are going to have a crazy bonkers theory, do it with conviction.

I can accept that both earth and mars are flat - as long as you don't expect geometry to be euclidian.
If you throw a ball, Newton says that it follows a curve due to the gravitation. Einstein said that it follows a straight line, in a space modified by the mass of the earth, so it has a non-euclidian geometry. If we just do the math in the proper way, geodesics are 'straight', and there is no 'gravitational force'.
You can equally well claim that earth is the center of the universe, the sun and the starts circling it. It takes a terriby complex math do describe the movements of all the other celestial bodies with earth as the fixed centerpoint, but it can be done. Assuming that the earth circles the sun makes much simpler math, and personally I prefer that.
Similarly, I prefer earth to be viewed as a sphere in euclidian/einsteinian geometry, rather than as flat in some weird non-euclidian geometry.

But then where would the Turtle and the Elephants live?

They live on the other side of the "flat" surface, of course!
All you need to do is to apply the inverse transform from the "flat" surface that we really live on to the "spherical" surface the benighted scientists insist that we live on, and you will know where to look!

I can understand the Flat Earth Society still hanging on in, say, the Netherlands. But these people can't have travelled much if they've never come across a hill, or seen skiing on the telly...

Most of the Dutch people I have met seem to be terribly tall. One of my best Dutch friends is 6ft 11ins tall. He claims it is because there are no mountain in the Netherlands so they had no choice but to be taller so they could see distant things!

It would be amusing to stage a debate between those who believe the Earth is flat and those who believe it is hollow.
