Now old lang was just an ordinary ol' bushy,
Who stumbled on an iron orphine,
Mountains'a the bloody stuff they reckon,
So they called it, 'Old Lang's iron'

That would be admitting that 2021.

In the morning, at the midpoint between home and work, I'm half-way to work.
Same place at night-time and I'm half-way home.
This is one instance, in which I definitely prefer the glass half-empty!

,
I have been asleep the last year and have just woken up. I heard it has sucked arse.
But seriously, I am ready to start a more positive year, so I have been motivated to hammer out some more php classes (old-school is sometimes the fastest way, imo) and it just makes me happy I have GPT-3 to complete most of the boring parts.

I was going to quit all my bad habits for the new year, but then I remembered: nobody likes a quitter.

If your bad habits turn you into a success - why quit? It makes no sense!
Get me coffee and no one gets hurt!

Success = Product, People, and Process.
I totally buy into that equation.
Happy New Year!

what do they do with the Chestnuts after they are roasted? eat them?
too lazy to actually Google this.

They're vegans - they probably release them into the wild ...
No - you eat them. They used to be popular Christmas street treats in the UK, and still are in NewYork and parts of Asia. (They go really well with roast brussels and bacon for a Christmas Dinner side dish.)
A lot less trees around than there used to be!

Here in US chestnut blight destroyed most of our trees. But they're making a come back.
I'm not sure how many cookies it makes to be happy, but so far it's not 27.

The smallest number which can be expressed as the product of two consecutive prime numbers, and which produces a palindrome when multiplied by its reverse, as in:
2021 = 43 x 47
2021 x 1202 = 2429242
Hope that this mathematical property of 2021 is enough to drive Covid-19 away from the world.

I have my doubts that viruses can count, much less do multiplication.
Almost anything is worth trying, though!

The problem is that they are multiplying too quickly
