So now Visual Studio 2019 refuses to build any project that you download from the web unless you remove the "mark of the web" from each .resx file.
And you have to do each file one by one. I have an SDK here with about 30 sample projects, and that's a big pain.
EDIT:
I am using this[^] project to find and delete all the alternate data streams that identify the originating zones of all my source files. Yay.
The difficult we do right away...
...the impossible takes slightly longer.

So let me get this straight, you're offering a copy of an SDK that has 30 sample projects and providing no link to it until someone repsonds to this Lounge post telling you to take your VS post to: ... (hey, where did the Visual Studio forum go?) ...
Truth be told, VS2010 has always complained about MOTW. But 64-bit VS is on it's way now ... so can't complain about anything modern anymore.

Well, the link I provided is from a 2005 Code Project article.

could you give me an example for "any project that you download from the web "?
I am interested to have a try to see your methods working
diligent hands rule....

Yeah, I posted that a little hastily. I see that not everything you download gets the mark of the web.
I was just frustrated by the inconvenience.

I'll have to say no to that. Using that little program is pretty darn simple. Just browse to the right folder and click select all and delete.

The comment section on that movie is a good summary of the unharmful-but-wrong on the internet...

But I didn't say how many new bugs it introduces (I don't know yet)

The packages are bloatware or, more likely, spyware.
