Very good. Do you need a company of mercenaries for the dirty work?
I have lived with several Zen masters - all of them were cats.
His last invention was an evil Lasagna. It didn't kill anyone, and it actually tasted pretty good.

That would be nice, I'm playing XCOM2 now but that seems more difficult than XCOM, maybe I'm getting too old for this kind of action. It was a hefty download too, more than 65 GB (as it is a collection, now on offer on Steam for only 12,54€).
Also had to tweak the NVIDIA graphics settings on my Dell laptop, otherwise it was blazing after only a few minutes of playing ...

Give me the coordinates. I am currently operating near Terra. At the moment I can drop a Marauder, a Warhammer and two Hunchbacks, 245 tons total. Will that be enough to stomp on the aliens?

You want my copy of Wasteland 3? It reminds me of XCom so I don't play it.
(Can't actually offer you the game, because I got it through steam)

That looks like a very interesting game, someone described it as "Baldur's Gate Meets X-Com"
But for the moment I have enough XCOM packs and expansions to last for months ...

They do that every year. It doesn't take long before the snow gets annoying. A game that involves that much driving at high speed is no fun when roads are slippery.

What are the CCC days from now on?

I think probably there will be one tomorrow, then shut down until the new year (Monday 3rd)?
Any strenuous objections?

I think there may be copious objections.
But nobody wants to strain themselves at this time of year!
If you can't laugh at yourself - ask me and I will do it for you.

And then, I guess, the next is Monday 3rd.

How many of you run a modern(ish) Ryzen?
They seem to run a little hot. 65C while stress testing, but I read somewhere these chips are good for up to 90 degrees or so.
I know nothing about AMD. Am I totally off base here thinking my chip is actually running pretty cool for this series of chips?

65 C while under stress is very good... The 9-line is graded up the close to 100 C, the 7-line is around 85 C...
Probably with age you will see some higher temperatures... In case it comes you can bring in some serious cooling system... or switch the CPU...
However for now the 65 C is more than perfect...
