Nah, it's just that Van Gogh was a cr@p painter -- he meant to paint a cow.
The only reasons that the useless, plagiaristic Vincent became expensive are that his brother was a primo-grade bullsh1tter, and that paintings from the really good impressionists were not available for neither love nor money (i.e. they were worth keeping, not cr@p that you could sell when you were short a few bob).

It's true. His most famous paintings were either what others would do as practice pictures, or direct copies of other -- better -- artists' paintings, usually painted without the skill or artistic brushwork of the originals (a few examples here[^]).
He was an impressionist because of lack of skill and laziness, not because it was his calling, and never advanced above the "learner" level.
In the Van Gogh museum, there are a few paintings by other impressionists, and they're the ones that make you stop and catch your breath; Van Gogh's look like (and, in fact, are) just paintings bladdered out by a student.

Wow, interesting.
However they are not blind copies and, in my opinion, the poor copy is often better than the original.

If you go to any art school, you will find students practising by copying old masters. Equally invariably, the worst students use bight, primary colours in their copies, and get bollocked for it by the tutors, who are bored stiff with having to deal with that abysmal level of creativity.
That's as far as Van Gogh got, in his entire lifetime. He was a poor student until his dying day.

I'd say you are wrong mr Wallace. He was trying to paint the dead soldiers, not a cow.
He was trying to warn us of the Zombie Apocalypse that ruled and will rise again

Realy? Primo-grade?
Primo - The leading or upper part in a duet
Grade - A particular level of rank, quality, proficiency, intensity, or value.

Sweet - wish I'd known about them before I built my current system, which is housed in a rather large cage with duranium alloy bars to keep the squirrels from escaping.

I don't know what's to be intrigued about this ?
It's a small(er) form computer; the PC equivalent to the Apple's Mini.

It's the kind of machine I like: small, low power usage. The specs on it seem promising, but as the graphics chip is new, it's questionable for high-end games.
Also, it's about 1/3 the price of the mini (which is also sitting on my desk right now, next to my eeeBox). Maybe only 1/2 after you stick a drive and CPU into it.

I'd be more interested if you could easily bread-board them together -- think of the library of astronomical data you could put together/display; you could have the whole universe in your living room.

It doesn't seem very accurate for the middle east or the north of the african continent, considering all the trouble around there at the moment.
