Never heard of Kendo...eh a tad on the expensive side. I'm using just plain old jQuery on mine, the widgets are easy to use look fairly good and fairly light weight besides to old to keep up with all the new stuff coming out. Old brain just can't absorb everything. Been learning Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop and the learning curve is very steep but photography is something I enjoy and am getting better at so haven't got a lot of time for other pursuits.

Check out their demos here:

I can't recommend Kendo UI enough .... for one thing - it will save you a major amount of work. The company is great to deal with - and for the cost to get in the game - you cannot beat it. Their grid alone is worth the price of the package if not more.
Kendo UI for MVC is a 10. Flat out.
And no - I don't work for Telerik

No telling I'm in the process of moving it over to Arvixe so it could be in and out, I no longer care.
Although it is odd because I haven't had any problems viewing it just can't ftp to it? Odd!

You're having problems with FTPing over to Arvixe? If so - what are you using to do the FTP?
|
|
|
|

no i cant ftp to my site on my old host to get backups of current data, i am fairly current and i wouldnt lose much but would be nice to have it

If you're ftp'ing to Arvixe from an XP box - set your FTP client to passive mode.
That's not an issue with Win 7

Just came across Within Temptations Destroyed[^] - a good twist on a lot of their old stuff.

Not bad she has an excellent voice!

She certainly does!
The only instant messaging I do involves my middle finger.

English follows other languages down dark alleys, knocks them over and goes through their pockets for loose grammar.

Lovely lungs, as well!

That too, certainly not to be missed

Indeed she has - Oddly enough I've found that I can get a lot of work done while listening to her

Not got that - Discog[^] says "unofficial release" which is a new one on me. No sign on Fleabay or Hamazon...
And I don't see it anywhere on the official site either.
Which means I have to use YouTube to listen to it...damn!

I like the "What Have You Done?" version - that shows off her voice very well!

Any opinions? It's a Dependency Injection / Inversion of Control framework, for those thinking, "Who the elephant cares about a castle?"
About to rewrite a legacy app (VB.NET/WinForms --> C#/WPF), and trying to decide whether to take the leap to DI/IoC... Seems like the right tool for the job (Lot of CRUD ops, some reporting, a few external libraries to integrate), but the only drawbacks I've found online are people saying it's a little harder to understand. No framework is perfect, so when I see something with no one whining about it, I start to think it's over-hyped.
Opinions? Worth it? Waste of time? Liquid Nitrogen?
