Then I've got some good news for you:
Support for Windows XP is ending on April 8, 2014.
After April 8, 2014, technical assistance for Windows XP will no longer be available, including automatic updates that help protect your PC. If you continue to use Windows XP, your computer might become more vulnerable to security risks and viruses.

Recursion is very meta today.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

Good thought but as a programmer, I think you know it should be OTD<S> and not <S>OTD.
Windows 8 is the resurrected version of Microsoft Bob. The only thing missing is the Fisher-Price logo.

Of misusing irony but I will continue
I enjoy reading Freakonomic Blog. They have started placing a very obtrusive content blocking ad-wall on the blog, every page (maybe just for me how knows). But imagine, a blog discussing opportunity costs losing out on readership implementing such a poor feature.
I wonder if there is a study on the bounce rate of readers when a screen blocking ad is rendered over the content? Considering ad revenue is driven by views I would speculate it drives traffic down and not up.

The only thing it drives up on my machines in the number of ABP rules I've written.

Kind of unfortunate, because I can understand the legitimacy of ads so I don't use ad-block, merely stop visiting sites that become obtrusive. The worst part is, unlike, many, I will actually read an ad if it looks relevant. I have actually clicked through on one CP ad!

IMO far too many internet advertisers have long since lost their social license to operate to make taking the high road reasonable any longer. If the elephants declare war on me I'm going to respond with saturation bombardment.
Lastly, excluding ones that come up when I'm using Google to search for a product I think the last time I saw an ad which had any value to me was when Gmail tagged a CP Reply Notice from Nish (?) with an ad for something like IndianArrangedMarriages.com which was good for a snicker about a we tried too hard failure.

Yeah I was going to say the same thing, I didn't see anything when I went to the site then I realized I had ABP...thankfully!

It's like they already suppose almost every visitor has some form of AdBlock. So best get the most out of those who don't!!

Goat's Cheese Shortage[^]
More importantly, will there be enough Roquefort for me?
(Yes I know it is Ewe's milk in Roquefort).

I had my holidays back in June.
2 weeks in Jamaica with my Lady Dalek and her Lady Dalek Bumps.
Too cold for a holiday now.

I'd call it a glass of Bordeaux until after the second bottle, then your spelling might creep in.
