After years of coding I discovered that I MUST have some project management sense to be able to communicate with the outer world that does not understand coding but which uses my code.

That is when programmer Tarek evolved into Middle management Tarek! Just kidding, I was watching a webinar the other day which said all coders say they'll never do management roles but at some point they think they can do the job better and then before they know it bob's your uncle and they're in management roles. Just the opinion of the host though not my own.

I've got a pretty good idea when it was that the idea came to them -- I'll bet they spent weeks, working out the perfect position of the loo roll, getting it on the precise trajectory.

When I go for an iDump, it's just me. I don't want to share my iPoo with the world. The sad thing is there are dickheads out there who will buy it.

So Adobe now say hackers got at least 38 million account details[^] (including user names and passwords!)
"the firm still believed that encrypted credit and debit card numbers, product expiration dates and other information relating to customer orders had only been compromised in the case of the original 2.9 million users identified."
Oh! well that's alright then!

According to security industry insiders [my Bro works in this area] the revealed extent of the breach is a small proportion of what actually got out and more importantly HOW the breach occurred.

They would say that, wouldn't they?
I don't know how far they've taken it or intend taking it, but have they implemented that subscription-only model for their products? It was mooted a few months back that they were heading that way. If they have or done so, then who knows what lies they will tell or are capable of telling.

As long as you lot keep drinking that Yellow Tail and Banrock Station vinegar, and in a manner that safely outstrips supply, I'll be happy. Just leave the swillable stuff to me.

Bleh - Oz wine is now as expensive as French in SG now and cheap ($30 a bottle) french beats that crap anytime. It has been ages since I drank any Oz wines that were not from SA (Claire Valley, some Barossa and Coonawarra) and Margaret River regions.

Does my head in that Yellow Tail is the most drunk wine from Oz. It is, hands down, the worst. There are, at last count, a zillion wines under $20 better than that. And yes, I've counted them and tested them carefully.
If you like your reds check out the Rutherglen or Bendigo regions (Central / Northern Victoria) or Margaret River (Western Australia). If you like your Pinots then Southern Victoria. Anything else red: McLaren / Barossa, hands down.
cheers,

We did a run through Rutherglen some years ago, I developed a taste for the Durif from there. Can't buy it in SG and we have no excuse to go to the middle of nowhere in Victoria. Yarra valley was pretty but the wines were very disappointing.
Jacobs Creek - Fosters we seem to export the worst crap and some poor bastard out there drinks the dammed stuff.
We did the Africa trip earlier this year (safari camps and wine region in SA) and some of the South African wines are excellent, trying to work out if we can afford to go back next year.
