Kids today.... bah!

While certainly not all parents, far to many have spoiled their children.
And I guess it's hard to break the habbit of saying yes to every whim when they reach adolescence, and things starts to get rather expensive.

Maybe in some posh London pubs; elsewhere, £2.50 - £3.50 is more normal.

Write some code, watch some anime, play some games, eat some food..
I've got enough code to write today that I won't have time to be bored

No, I was out with the team from http://www.wokingstreetangels.org.uk/[^], that's me hiding at the back . Actually saw the crash report on a news feed in a local Estate Agents window some time after 0100.

The first one, tagged "Commissioning Service". There's a tall black guy (Ike) on the right side in the back row. I'm the old guy just to the right of him, hidden by my young friend Matt.

A boring Saturday? I don't know what one of them is! Too much to do, too little time.
If I don't have anything pressing - down the beach.

I have a regular Saturday job managing a self-storage facility. It started 6 years ago as a self-imposed penalty to curb an addiction that was costing me too much money...golf. The job takes a maximum of 2 hours a shift, leaving me the rest of the time to write code or just 'lounge'.

Try to make it lees boring:
Took a walk in the snow covered forest with my dear wife and 5 month old lab pup.
Checked out Midi Guitar by Jam Origin - nope not ready yet.
Now watching Michigan trying to come back on Ohio state while I check up on all you alls.
And with a 5 month old lab in the house there really no boring moment.

I think this would be quite a fun exercise, and my small media collection is growing fast enough (with the Telkom 60GB + 60GB) package to start making me anxious about preserving it. I'll just offload it to an external drive for now, so it's safe if my machine goes postal, but just one copy doesn't do much for peace of mind.
Has anyone done this, or does anyone know of a good guide to doing it? I'm looking more at theory here, as the component sets available are different in different countries.
