How very dare you!
As a mater of fact, I prefer Java to C# despite being proficient in both. When I fathom out why, I'll let you all know.

C# welcomes back repentant sinners !
If you seek to aid everyone that suffers in the galaxy, you will only weaken yourself … and weaken them. It is the internal struggles, when fought and won on their own, that yield the strongest rewards… If you care for others, then dispense with pity and sacrifice and recognize the value in letting them fight their own battles." You beat me to it. I was going to go back to your other post and mention all that you have mentioned.
Don't stress about what you said before I am sure we have all been there. I sure was! Funny thing too was I was working on a VB6->VB.Net project. This software was written in the mid 90s where standards were yet to be... standardized. There were many a time where each programmer's input over the years have muddied the waters quite a bit. Some condition statements being always true for whatever reason or always false. Or comments stating to make sure to put "that" back in. Whatever "that" refers too I still have no clue.
So you are not alone in your frustration. Remember this one thing. Always keep putting one foot in front of the other and I am sure you will complete your project. Or in the words of Dory from Finding Nemo, "just keep swimming!"
Happy coding!

One the things I have learnt from this whole elephant is to get better & deeper explanation of what 'it' has to do and proper bug/wish lists I have the one part working now (all that is was originally told I had to do). The best bit is the 'Well it worked when it was left with you' the reply was 'It swallowed the errors, and carried on it said it had completed when the awkward tests weren't done', 'Make it work!!', 'I am trying...', 'it worked when X left it', 'No it didn't, it just glossed over the facts', which led to the post yesterday.

Then you had it rough!
You're going to laugh at this. Before I drastically improved the software to what it is now. There were moments when running a report the users had to hold down the enter key because of the 10,000 error messages that popped up. The users got so good at timing how long they had to hold down the enter key. If they held it down for too long the "ReRun" report would be selected. That led to another 10,000 error messages to cycle through.
Talk about passing the "testing phase".

Auntie reports the old sod has snuffed it[^]. Tonight, Auntie shows the first of two parts about this notorious robbery. The timing is quite ironic so it will serve as an obit to a so-called legendary villain, at least in his own mind which ain't no more.
I hope the docudramas will be fair to the facts of the robbery. I'm not convinced I ever liked him despite his larger-than-life persona, again in his own mind which ain't no more.
He deserved better health than the effects of the strokes that affected him. We'll see what Auntie syas about it all this evening, in The Robbers Tale.

Deserved better than Jack Mills how?

Only in the sense that a stroke is a horrible thing to endure. My mum died in the street from one. I'd not wish it on anybody so he gets my sympathy in that respect.
Jack Mills did suffer and the gang were justly punished for the robbery. Biggs, as we know, had a relatively easy time on the run and only came back to the UK once he realised he wasn't going to get the care he needed in Brazil.

I'm sorry Septic old bean, but I feel no sympathy for a man who openly believed his own hype. Biggs was a criminal, he took part in an audacious robbery fuelled by his own greed that left a man with severe injuries that led to his death. The only thing Biggs did was run away to save his own sorry arse, but when the money ran out a returned with his worthless tail between his legs.
Good riddance is my thought.

I'm inclined to agree with you. I toned down my other feelings about him and what he did as I was mindful I might have incurred forum wrath if I wrote as felt I wanted to. As you've opened the door for me to an extent, then I concur with your summary of him.

If you believe Wiki then no.." He died of chronic lymphatic leukaemia, with a further complication of bronchial pneumonia". I don't think you get either of those from a crack to the skull.
And no, I'm not saying they didn't attack and injure him and that Biggs was Mr Niceguy.

I agree a stroke is a terrible thing. Soemone I knew many years ago was left wheelchair bound and unable to talk when only in his forties. However, I still see no reason why that means that Biggs deserved better.

As I say, I meant it only with reference to my mum who died from one around 1992 sometime.
