A young school boy called his dad during school hours and asked "Dad, can you pick me up?"
Dad: "What happened son?"
Boy: "The teacher pointed at me with a ruler and said 'At the end of the ruler is an idiot'"
Dad: "And then?"
Boy: "Asking 'which end' was obviously not the right thing to do"

And, for transgenderite (born male) Karom, who married transgenderite (born female) Ekmaneekan, equally special was the fact their marriage could be recognized as legal in the Land of Smiles: [^]
Although Thai society is relatively tolerant toward same-sex couples, same-sex marriage is not legally sanctioned under the Thai laws. But the marriage of Mr. Karom and Ms. Ekmaneekan was easily registered at Nong Nooch Garden on Thursday, since officials said the lovers retain their birthday statuses as male and female, respectively. A refreshing story compared to the daily ping-pong-bomb/giant-firecracker/grenade/bullets injury/casualty statistics from the streets of Bangkok where the latest installment of the national political psychodrama street-theater is mired in a rather turgid third act with no deus ex machina in sight ... at the cost of great stress, and suffering, for many people, and great damage to the economy.
“But I don't want to go among mad people,” Alice remarked.
“Oh, you can't help that,” said the Cat: “we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.”
“How do you know I'm mad?” said Alice.
“You must be," said the Cat, or you wouldn't have come here.” Lewis Carroll

Might be coming soon to your hometown. I read in the 9 February Bangkok Post supplement (Sunday) a story about discussion of moving Yingluck's government to Chang Mai because of the disruption in Bangkok.
There was even some talk of succession of the North in the article dividing the current country into two independent states.
Could get interesting here in Issan.

It was a test question set by the Esteemed Mr Maunder: he was checking out a spam filter to remove the indian magic spam moron, and as a result it contained quite a few terms from the spamalanche posts we have been getting - needless to say, the spam filter hadn't grabbed it, which is why I was tempted to report our Lord And Hamster Master for spamming QA!
I suspect he removed it when testing was complete.

Could you please put a curse on spammers for me?
Nothing too drastic - spammers don't have d**ks so we can't make them drop off - how about 1000 fleas infesting the nether regions? Easy / difficult?

Do you eat Emus or their eggs? I was just thinking that although your (now very big) chickens had kicked down the kazi you could still be in for a bit of profit.

Recently I have seen a black magic baba who's a recent member and a spammer. I don't know why he landed up here in CP as most of his posts were related to Astrology.
Thanks,

We still say +5[^] here in the Lounge, something that originated in the old voting system even though +1 would appear more appropriate since it is not possible to give +4 or anything like that anymore.
