Eldest is having Sex Ed currently. It is lovely to see her squirm when we remind her that that is were she came from and, yes, Mummy and Daddy did IT.

Oh no, we let them know we were at it like rabbits. It's more embarrassing for them that way. I seriously find it funny that our daughter can't believe that we'd do that; it's just so much fun to tease her.

Are they programmers or project managers?
Anything that is unrelated to elephants is irrelephant Anonymous ----- The problem with quotes on the internet is that you can never tell if they're genuine Winston Churchill, 1944 ----- I'd just like a chance to prove that money can't make me happy. Me, all the time

My daughter is only two at the moment, but it's hard for me to see that she'll ever be the squirmish kind. It will be me that's doing the squirming I'm afraid.
The boy though, is of a totally different kind...

If you don't bother reading the thread and just click on your post the subject and body much unfortunate reading together.

Yes, I can see that now.
But considering your adventures in the Forest, I still feel I have a long way to go in unfortunate innuendos, whether deliberate or not.

Snigger!

That's actually quite common. can't sleep because you're thinking about something, get tired, start worrying about not getting to sleep - which keeps you awake ...
Does your mrs. concur that you have sleepless nights? I ask because one common thing is for people who are worrying about something to actually sleep - but dream they are awake and lying in bed tossing (oh! err! Missus) and turning.
My Father was one of them. For many years he would tell us how he hadn't slept more than an hour the previous night, while in fact we had all been kept awake by his 'the flying scotsman enters the Billingshurst tunnel' snoring.
It took the advent of the cassette tape recorder to convince him.
Oh, and the Gin doesn't help

Considering I'll come downstairs to read and have a hot drink or samich, I am pretty certain that I do not sleep. Oh, Mrs Wife sleeps like a baby; even wets the bed.

What they are told in this case is "Any Technical Matters To Come Through David"
Complaints abound that a set of email accounts are no longer working.
Investigation shows that the domain name has not been paid and is suspended.
Go to 'Go Daddy' (for it is they) to try to pay and have it reinstated.
Go Daddy say that I need to have the access password, which is not written down.
I find out that the domain name was requested by a company that was asked to provide a webspace by one of our no longer with us employees.
So I try to call the webspace company to get the details so that I can go back to Go Daddy to get the domain name paid for again.
The company that the employee who no longer works for us used has gone into administration and is not able to help, as no-one knows who set it up, where the records are or how to organise a piss-up in a brewery.
I am vexed.
Fortunately the domain name will soon be out of registration completely so I will be able to buy it back and point it to a new webspace.
But until then...
No emails, no online presence and a bag full of sh*t for David.
Sometimes I hate my job.

and what was the name of the domain again?
I will never again mention that Dalek Dave was the poster of the One Millionth Lounge Post, nor that it was complete drivel.

My favorite in a tale like this is when the admin buys <somedomian.com> and creates admin@somedomain.com for the email account, and then goes and modifies all of the registrations stuff to point there. Then something happens and all attempts to communicate go to <email@somedomain.com> where no one can get access.
I spent a few months doing the help side for a hosting company. Hated that call about once a week where I had to tell the person that I cannot help you because you cannot manage your accounts.
Although it was always much worse when the company had a blowup with the contractor that set it all up and I had to tell them, go rebuild the bridge you just burned so you can get the password you need. Especially because those contractors were always 'crooks' and much worse.
Good luck getting it all put back together soon.
