Skelp!
My mother used to threaten me with one of those!
All the Eggheads strike me as a bunch of tossers.
The person I reserve my deepest loathing for though is Ross Noble.
I cannot abide that complete sunshine.

They are more annoying though, aren't they? I actually Hate Zimmern, he has a nasty glee in his eyes when small animals are killed, really, I think he is a psycho.

I dunno if it's old age or doing Web development only for the last 12 months...
But my home work on a (kind of original) WPF control is... so slow...
Worse than that, I got stuck somewhere and I had to save my self by digging some control I wrote (which I found painful to write from scratch now! )
Anyhow, this is a new concept, I call it: The MenuTabItem
It's like the Office2013 ribbon: you don't know when it's closed, maybe it's a Ribbon , maybe it's a Menu ?
Well in the case of the Ribbon it's a Ribbon .
With my control, the MenuTabItem , each tab could be different! One tab can drop a Ribbon , while an other tab drop a Menu !
What da ya think?
Might end up on CodeProject too! ^^

Not yet, as I said the work is going slowly...
Hopefully I got something next weekend! ^^

So start it now (while it's fresh in your mind) and continue it as you go. I find that writing it up concentrates the mind wonderfully, and even points out the flaws pretty well too...

OK, I will heed your advice!

I have actually found codeproject to be an excellent place to store your code, and it forces you to make some documentation as well

Tips don't take long to "bash out" - and they force me to think about the code, so they help improve the quality of my unpublished code as well.
My mucky movies are posted elsewhere, under other names...no, that's a lie: I'm far too dull to do Gentleman's Special Interest vids. Plus Herself would kill me...

Videos that are home made is "harder" to watch, as I often feel like they are sort of reading to you. Much stuff in a short space, while professional videos is much *bling* and less content.

Tell me about it. Some of the articles I have written have taken quite a while to finish, perhaps upto a month or two.

...and that's without the time on the code behind them either. I find it takes a heck of a lot longer to write the words. That's probably why the wannabees annoy me when they post "hello world" or copy something good from t'interweb...

Yes, but I remember when the interweb didn't exist.. Given everything I'd say its mostly a plus, but some people should not get it until they master some basic things first.

Nah, that's not plagiarism (according to many, many article "writers") - it's "improved"
