Yes, that Futurama, the show they just couldn't keep down despite its horrible treatment by Fox. It's on Hulu now. For another batch of 10 episodes or so, is my understanding.
In terms of TV production, we sure live in interesting times. Before streaming, once a show got cancelled, it was just unthinkable it'd ever come back.
What other show do you think met its demise too soon and deserves a comeback? Personally I was thinking Firefly, but the movie put the kibosh on the whole storyline that had been planned to stretch things out into multiple seasons, so frankly I'd rather not have it come back and then watch the story getting fundamentally changed...

Agreed. I really enjoyed that series.

Did Amazon not finish it?

No, they stopped after book 6 of 9.
There should be a thirty year gap between books 6 and 7, but that's not insurmountable I'd have thought. Amazon managed to retrospectively kill off one of the major characters in the final episode just after they finished filming a whole season so they didn't have to use the actor again in the next series so a little extra make up and Robert is your Mother's Brother.
[edit]
They left a huge pile of foreshadowing for series 7, 8, and 9 in there as well.

Well, I'm sure they won't do the same thing for "The Captive's War[^]"!

What annoys me the most is that they charge £13 for the Kindle edition and £9 for the paperback.

Yeah. I thought the whole idea was: "It's electronic, there are no paper or shipping costs so Kindle will be much cheaper."

Greetings kind regards
I attempted to learn what caused the CrowdStrike outage by typing into the web search box precisely that question. The results were a list of titles of articles promising to do exactly that and in great detail. The article from CNN seemed the most informative but am still left uninformed. I assumed the entire world knew instantly it was a software bug. So the many authors of these articles announced to us in great detail that the sky is blue. We should all be grateful for their fine and useful efforts.
CrowdStrike outage: We finally know what caused it - CNN
"A bug in the pre-release testing software allowed a bug in the tested software to pass."
CrowdStrike outage explained: What caused it and what’s next - TechTarget
"A bug in the software."
What actually happened inside the CrowdStrike update to cause a worldwide IT breakdown? - abc
"... mistake has been made in coding ..."
CrowdStrike shares details on cause of global tech outage - USA TODAY
"... the update was problematic, ..."

Thank you kindly.
I learned from the kindly provided article a "wild" pointer was dereferenced and its use was not caught by QA and no "canary" release was performed also something re/ kernels which I am not qualified to fully understand. The remaining questions are how in the world can a programmer no doubt superior to myself dereference a so called wild pointer something I have never done and find easy to avoid doing. Why QA did not catch the bug. Why was no canary release performed.
