Sorry to hear that. May you and your family have the strength to get through this.
It was broke, so I fixed it.

Condolences... lost my Dad almost 30 years ago to renal cancer, so I know. Someone posted already about talking to him NOW. I wish I had done so before my dad went into the later stages. It would have helped both of us.

Too many people that I know (old and young) are in similar situations. And words seem so empty when you have to face the turmoil of emotions that such news brings. Our thoughts are with you and your family.

But dangit it's hard!
A friend has his birthday next month and for the past something like seven or eight years we've given each other movie trilogies or quadrilogies... Mad Max, Back To The Future, Jurassic Park, Blade, Ocean's, Bourne, El Mariachi, RoboCop, Mission Impossible, Rambo, Rocky, Transporter, Matrix... We've seen a lot!
And of course we've seen other movies separate from each other, or not for our birthdays, like LOTR, The Hobbit, Spiderman, Star Wars, Alien, Predator, X-Men, The Godfather, Batman, Indiana Jones...
That means I'm all of ideas for (potentially) cool trilogies/quadrilogies/whateverilogy we haven't seen yet!
So tips are greatly appreciated!

I know the voices in my head are not real but damn they come up with some good ideas!

Perfect! A nice trilogy box will be released over here next week and at least I haven't seen them yet

They are excellent.
Had seen the first one several times but photographed my sons wedding over the weekend and watched 2 & 3 with him and his wife.

These are some I found...haven't actually watched some of them. I do kinda link the Underworld movies, though.
Terminator
Fast and the Furious
The Silence of the Lambs/Hannibal/Red Dragon
Transformers
Rush Hour
Harold and Kumar
Underworld

I've been looking at Terminator for a few years now, but you'll be surprised how hard it is to get the complete series at a reasonable price...
Not as hard as Rush Hour (good one!), which is over €60 (in my webshop of choice)!
Been looking at Fast and the Furious, coincidence has it we went to see 7 just last week! The entire package is still a bit over budget though.
We've seen Transformers and at least the first Underworld (I think second too).
Harold and Kumar really isn't our thing.
Putting Silence/Hannibal/Red Dragon on the list!
Thanks for the good suggestions!

Older...
Back To The Future
Superman
Batman

We've seen Back To The Future and Batman (old and new), I'll look into Superman, thanks!

Star Trek (original) movies? Certainly 2-4 can be considered a trilogy.
[edit]Though #3, The Search for Spock, could be tossed with no great loss. Funny how the odd #'d movies were the worst. [/edit]

I don't think he's into Star Trek...
Keeping it in the back of my head as we haven't seen them yet

I haven't seen Die Hard mentioned yet... the first 3 are worth watching - not so much 4 & 5.
Contrary to popular belief, nobody owes you anything.

Yes! Been looking into that for a few years already. I can't find a decent and reasonably priced box set though.
We've seen part 4 at the movies. The part where he takes down that helicopter with his car is still one of our favorite movie scenes ever

I'm reliably informed that there is a "Debbie does ..." series, available on DVD
Of the content, I am of course ignorant.

Unafraid and ready for whatever may come (hah!) I decided to Google it. Got to a movie called "The dark side of pr0n"... I wasn't ready and I got afraid
Doesn't matter, the plot is rather poor according to IMDb

Apparently, no-one watches these for the plot.
Or the acting.
Must be why they don't get any Oscars!

Generally speaking we're going for the holy trinity "schieten, tieten & helicopters" or "shooting, tits & helicopters"
It seems Debbie Does... only offers one of those

I'm reliably informed that shooting (of a kind) is in there as well...
And I don't remember any Lady Bumps in Star Wars!

It made up for that with the shooting and spaceships (let's be honest, that beats helicopters!)
Besides, Leia was pretty sweet in the Jabba scene (although she is the real treat[^], of course)
