Dear Sergey and Larry,
Version 45.0.2454.37 beta-m (64-bit) on Win 8.1 / 64
The last ten days Chrome is frequently "seizing up," refusing to accept keyboard input ... yet, at the same time continuing to respond to mouse actions ... closing, and re-starting, Chrome takes care of that.
Then there's the frequent failures to load pages; interestingly: some of the error pages shown by Chrome have a "Reload Page" button, and others do not ... the ones that do not present what appears to be an old early Mac super-lo-fi-big-pixel crash icon ... nice touch of humor there.
I don't mean to sound like I am not abjectly grateful for this wonderful service that reads my e-mails to figure out things I don't need, and reminds me how frugal I am by presenting advertisements for these things I don't need so I can have the self-affirming experience of rejecting them.
But, well, things are a little tight lately; with Johnny having the shakes and all he can't keep pedaling the electricity generator long enough to keep Mama's respirator going, and little Suzi's guide-dog, Benjamin, got in the pantry and ate some of the amphetamines we been feeding Johnny which ended up with animal-welfare officers coming out here and citing us.
So, Sergey and Larry ... I know you're reading this ... please understand if I seem a little critical it's probably just a side-effect of how things are, and, after all, I do understand that the journey that is the reward of building software that's "insanely great" is going to have some speed-bumps.
Perhaps ... since I'm beta-testing for you ... a free ChromeBook is in order here ?
your suffering fan, Bill

Hahahahahahahaha!
Think yourself lucky that they aren't Micro$oft - you have to pay to be a beta tester there!
I think they call it the Regular Test Marketing version...

I am using uBlock now, based on an earlier referral you did for them, a while back.

I never miss it, I have a great memory for dates.
That is why the Missus and I were out and got so pissed Friday night. No going out on a Monday night as work gets in the way.

I guess you are going to have to start thinking about what to do for next year - it's going to be a big one!

Depends on how much money I have. Kids are 15 and 18 and cost almost as much as the Mother to run.

Goodonya. Twenty-three for the wife and I yesterday (the fifteenth).
And as for starting the celebration early, the wife and I started Friday night, as we now live three time zones west of where we got married so the fifteenth had already started.

Youngster My definition of young: if I've been married longer than you've been alive, you are young.

Hi Martin, congratulations to you, and deepest sympathies to She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed.
If there were any justice in this world, she'd probably get credited with active-duty-in-war-zone back-pay for at least twenty-years.
cheers, Bill
