FYI - 40 MVPs every year. Here is the list - Most Valuable Professionals - CodeProject[^].
Criteria is - Quote: CodeProject's Most Valuable Professional award is given to those members who have contributed the most to the community in both article submissions and in answering questions on the site. The award is given annually.
MVP status is awarded as recognition of outstanding contributions to the CodeProject community; through Quick Answers, the Forums or through Articles and Tips. MVP is recognized through an MVP icon next to forum postings as well as a notice in an MVPs member profile. Formal recognition of MVP status is also provided through a certificates sent to all MVPs

He's still around, I here from him every now and then. The problem is Tasmania only has 2 tin cans and 1 piece of string. They have to take turns using it for communications.
