According to Wiktionary[^]:
A missile that is initially guided, but then follows a ballistic (freely falling) trajectory.

So a ballistic missile is one that's only part ballistic? And a missile that's completely ballistic isn't ballistic? Glad it's not complicated!
Anyway, thanks!

Ballistic refers to the trajectory, no the missile. If you throw a rock in the air, once it starts descending it's ballistic.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is

Actually, for a rock thrown in the air, it becomes ballistic as soon as it leaves your hand (the guidance and propulsion system).

Ballistic because it's a Taepodong[^]and they have balls?

This is to say that they are just testing regular missiles, and not "cruise" missiles (or guided missiles)

A ballistic missile is a self-propelled projectile that is initially guided or accelerated, but then becomes "ballistic", that is, subject only to gravity and air resistance and no longer moves under its own power.

Most missiles these days aren't ballistic; they're powered and can change direction.

We've had all kinds of discussions about what computer setups and monitor setups we have...but now I'm considering getting a new desk chair for my home office. If I decide to put a little money in it to get something nice that lasts what would you recommend? Or do most people go with a cheap walmart chair?

Put money into a good one.
Cheap ones are made down to a price, and in particular I've noticed that the ever-so-comfy seat pan is made of rubbish foam which compresses until you are sitting on the lump of rough wood under it very quickly.
I replaced my office chair about two or three years ago, and I've had to re-upholster it completely with proper foam (and decent leather) already. The chair it replaced was twenty plus years old when I binned it (and I wish I hadn't)
Remember that you will be sitting in this thing for at least 8 hours a day, 5 days a week - that's probably a similar amount of time to that you spend in bed!

Wise words indeed, choose carefully. About 5 years ago our company changed locations, in the process I was given a new chair. Oy was is terrible (my aching back and backside)! spent a couple of days hunting down my old one, took the person who ended up with it out for lunch a couple of times before I convinced them to switch with me, twas worth it I tell you!

I threw out my last 100€ chair a very long time ago and replaced it with a fairly schmick one[^] (sorry, couldn't find an english site showing it). Did cost quite a bit but in my eyes it's totally worth it, I've never had any back aches or whatever since and the only thing that had to be replaced after several years of almost daily use were the armrest-pads.

Griff is absolutely right. The cushions of cheap chairs get compressed with use and start hurting you in places where you didn't know you had places, especially if you spend many hours in it every day. A couple of months ago I threw out my old chair for this reason. I went to Office Depot and bought the best one they had. Yes, it was over $200, but worth it. Now all my places are at peace!

I won an expensive ergonomic office chair a year or two ago now, and it has made a huge difference to my life. I was struggling at the time with back and hip problems after a car accident, and within hours on the new chair I could feel improvement, and withing just a week or two most of the problems I was having at work had gone away.
Most important features of it that I can tell is good, thick, properly supportive seat, properly configurable arm rests, with plenty of width, and a high back that can be adjusted to get the support in the right areas of the spine.
