I know exactly how much effort goes into article writing, I do it rather often for Unity development. I'm just terrible at thinking of content for my youtube channel. I figured I would check with what the consensus was here in the forums before I went through with this idea.

It will be 1,000 videos of "text to speech" ?

Let me say, up front, that I have no articles or tutorials on CP. So this is more an outsider's perspective.
Hypothetically though, if I did have articles or tutorials, I wouldn't care as long as the video wasn't monetized. I would however like to be notified afterward, just so I know that it's out there. Maybe I'd even add a link to the video in the article itself, if the video adds to the topic.
I realize though, that of course not everyone is going to be of the same opinion. I agree with the other comments. Ask each author, each time, on an article to article basis. You'll save yourself a lot of time, effort, and pain if they happen to object.

Should I clarify then, that I mean monetized for the channel owner? I understand that YouTube gets money off of ads regardless, but channel owners can choose not to monetize their videos (meaning they don't get a cut of the ad revenue.) In fact, if you look here[^] it's something that the channel owner needs to explicitly opt in to, on a video by video basis.

Apart from clearing it with every author, I would also get the blessing of the CP management.

How does one even contact CP management? And it looks like the general consensus is to talk to the authors of the tutorials, so I would definitely go that route.

imho (speaking as one of 12+ million), it's a good thing you brought this up for discussion, here.
But, to respond, I'd need to know more about what you mean by "use content," and to what extent this use results in financial profit for you. If this is going to be a for-profit project, then I believe that you, as others suggest here, would specific permission from CP management, and article authors.
In a reply on this thread you wrote:

This gives me pause; it suggests you are going to take content from CP, and make it the basis of videos (I admit I can't visualize how you'd do that), rather than mentioning/citing content on CP, and linking to it, somehow.
With respect, let me ask you: if you don't have ideas for original content, should be you doing these videos ?

No disrespect taken. When it comes to just using .NET and C#, I can't think of projects that people would be interested in. I don't exactly want to do Unity3D video tutorials at the moment because the tutorials I write on it will soon have videos with that content as well.
I am all for not monetizing the content. One of my inspirations for wanting to do this is some of the readers I have for my tutorials said they wanted a video of the content as well.

If you are already planning to do videos for your tutorials on Unity because that's what your current (Unity ?) content readers request:
Then why would you feel some kind of "urge" to do videos in a content area where you don't have any idea what people are interested in, and don't have "requests" for ? This does not make sense. You might as well make videos for firefighters based on your lack of original ideas in that content area.
I see every reason for you not to make videos in any content area you don't have original ideas, and personal inspiration, for. If you have an uncontrollable itch to do a video, why not make home movies ?
