You win the funny comment award.
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?
The metaphorical solid rear-end expulsions have impacted the metaphorical motorized bladed rotating air movement mechanism.
Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

Happened to us. It took out our dryer as well. Samsung support was terrible until my wife called them out publicly on facebook. They finally reimbursed us months after it went out.

Samsung are good at components (LCD screens - used to be biggest, memory), but they've always sucked at end user product.
Too fast pushing new models without proper testing.
(- and if you buy their gear is seems within weeks you've got the 'old model,' and so if it breaks they have to send it away to the factory for a couple of months.)

Washington Post, today: And, throw in zero-G games: [^].
Includes edited transcript of Musk's remarks at 67th International Astronautical Congress in Guadalajara, Mexico:Quote: In an event that that had the feel of a Apple product unveiling, with delirious fans who rushed into the conference hall as soon as the doors opened, he spoke for more than an hour about a new, immensely powerful rocket, powered by a staggering 42 engines and a spacecraft designed to fly 100 passengers, or more, to Mars and even destinations beyond. Should that be "42 bombs" ?
Reaction that Musk may not have appreciated (?):Quote: Bill Nye, chief executive of the Planetary Society, praised Musk, calling him “Iron Man,” and saying his plan was “very cool.” But he said he worried about the possibility of “breathing and spitting” humans contaminating Mars and interfering with any life that may already be there. My favorite Musk quote: Quote: In 2002, SpaceX basically consisted of carpet and a mariachi band. That was it. That's all of SpaceX in 2002. As you can see, I'm a dancing machine. And, yeah, I believe in kicking off celebratory events with mariachi bands. I really like mariachi bands. Olé Prometheus !
«There is a spectrum, from "clearly desirable behaviour," to "possibly dodgy behavior that still makes some sense," to "clearly undesirable behavior." We try to make the latter into warnings or, better, errors. But stuff that is in the middle category you don’t want to restrict unless there is a clear way to work around it.» Eric Lippert, May 14, 2008

42 engines... 42... coincidence? I think not!

If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time - a tremendous whack.

My mother-in-law has a mug that appears black until you fill it with a hot liquid, then, her granddaughter appears on the mug. As you drink the liquid and the mug cools, the black fades back in.

Back when stealth technology was still an unconfirmed rumor, we were issued coffee mugs at work with a picture of a bomber on a radar screen. When hot coffee was added, the bomber faded away. Very cool... I think I still have the mug somewhere, but after 10 years or so the effect wore off.

This was originally put into much more commendable use by drawings (and other images) of attractive ladies on the mug, the heat making suitable modifications to increase sales of both mugs and hot beverages.

Walking back from work this morning when I noticed the dew hanging on the spider webs in the lawn, so I took some pictures with my phone. I thought I would share my favorite, which I just made my new desktop background. If you like it, feel free to use and share it.

Nice. My photography is mainly of small and tiny natural things.
Much as I love spring and summer, autumn has the best characteristics for macro-photography, so much of nature giving it's last hurrah before the end; elegant details on seed pods.
That field is quite odd - so covered with webs.

OK, the standard question: what camera did you use to take the pic?
And also, very appropriate for the upcoming Halloween day.
