I was tasked this morning with importing a CSV file and saving it to a database. It took me less than 20 minutes to implement, and building the (validated) model/viewmodel took more time than the importing using two of my recent articles; CSV File Parser[^] and Fun With Attributes[^].
Now all I have to do is build an interface. That'll probably take me the rest of the week.

I'm not sure if this is an attempt at dry humor/sarcasm, or if you simply didn't notice they were my articles.

Hey, if he doesn't give a proper citation to that guy's work, the guy will go ballistic -- in the literal sense!

Hi All,
I have just rebuilt a laptop that was part of my companies sonar surveying equipment. The flight cases came back from Greenland absolutely soaking wet, there was about a foot (meter) of water in the case with a Dell laptop in it. took it apart completely (drilled out one screw as no head) left it for a couple of days to remove any moisture left put bits back together. Pressed the power button, got distracted came back to it and it has booted up, track pad works, cue bolt of lightning 'It's alive' !

Plug in the speakers and check if it's craving brainzzzz before you touch the keyboard.
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...
Done! Just makes the boring Windows sounds...Brainzzzz would be more interesting/frightening....
So now change it: make the default beep "brainzzzz" and send it back...

At work, we have these extremely high-res monitors now and of course my eyes aren't what they used to be.
So a couple of Win10 updates ago, I could change just the text so I had high-res and text size that was readable.
Text Size No-Choice
Now, Microsoft on one of the numerous updates has made it so I can _only_ enlarge the size of the text on certain feature/areas of the OS. However, the main text in a window cannot be enlarged.
You can see a snapshot of what they let you change here:

I know. I know. It's a pad/phone world out there and these text sizes don't matter on there.
Microsoft Supports Devices They Aren't On
Plus, Microsoft especially is known for being used on pads and phones. Riiiiiiight.

The Surface is the most popular tablet out there, outselling it's rivals by a huge margin!
And the Windows Phone is the most common communications device on the planet!
On Planet Redmond, anyway. Unfortunately, in this reality...
