I have an eighteen year old Toyota so it's group 13.

18 years ago I paid a bit under $1500/yr for my car insurance.
Today it's a bit under $1400/yr. It's the same car. It's 18 years old and now practically worthless. Never claimed anything.

I'm fairly old and I have a lot of no claims bonus!

Most people where I live have sold their diesel cars because of ULEZ
I have a 2.0 litre Honda CRV petrol and my premium for fully comprehensive is £394.54 thats with max NCD

We're just outside, but have to regularly go in, and our car wasn't compliant, but we were fortunate and able to afford to upgrade; not everyone was so lucky. Some of my friends have "modern classics" which they can't really afford to use regularly now.
Another one of my friends lives in the ULEZ. Paradoxically, his recent diesel is compliant, his wife's older petrol car wasn't.

My sister found? (she was vague) a life sized stone-like statue of a toddler - not like a cupid or anything you'd normally associate with such statues - just a normal toddler. Maybe a 3yo boy in overalls, uniform gray.
I suggested (and the suggestion will probably take) that she display it prominently on her property with a sign that reads "unattended or misbehaving children will be turned to stone."
Her youngest, the 2 year old talks to it.
