Adams missed the opportunity...
..."Work From Home" must always be double-quoted in print
or air-quoted when spoken by a character.

I think it happened at the same time the dress code changed to Business Dorky[^]
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

There are only 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't.

Hi All,
Is an yone watching the Twin Peaks Returns series because if they are, I hope you are as lost as I am. I mean Iknow David Lynch is an arty farty type but... I am pretty good at non-linear plots, confusing things to make you think but come on! over half an episode in black & white with no apparent link to the plot? I got the impression it was art for arts sake

|
What's the plot? Who did Laura Palmer kill before she got killed?
|
|
|
|

Strangely Laura was only mentioned in the first episode as the name of a case...

I can't help but think of this[^] when I read your post.

I'm watching and are lost too.
I guess we have to wait until the final episode to get a chance to understand.

Yes, the latest episode seemed like a film student's mental breakdown.
Between that and the previous episode's "ten minutes of a guy sweeping the floor in a bar while some music plays in the background", I'm starting to think David is trolling us.

It's art, near as I can figure... the first bit made 'some' sense, I get the impression that it's art for arts sake.

Will binge watch when finished (18 eps).
I'm watching american gods first series (1 ep to go) - it's somewhere out there too - way strange how and what's being told.
Hoping that last ep has an answer or two coz it's like a bowl of spaghetti with no idea what's at the bottom (yeah the main story is announced but how or even if it's getting there I still don't know.)
Worth a look bat a warning: the director seems a bit penis obsessed.
Sin tack
the any key okay

I haven't yet had the chance to see any of American Gods the main story seemded to be of interest... I just hope there is not a trend for 'clever' read pretentious storys. The old Twin Peaks was a little odd but there was the underlying murder plot, the new one only has the vaugest connection mostly agent Copper acting odd.

I sometimes feel that astrophysicists should go out and get a life, but it holds even more so for "science reporters" - most of which can't understand why it's cooler at night...
